New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I preordered 3/1/11 and my 0561 should be here today or tomorrow, my 0560 later this week. Not sure if that helps anyone but I can't wait to get my hands on both of them!

1) Prices will go Down? from where? Price will not go down from $260 in fact I believe they may go up first then settle back to MAP price which at this time is $260.
2) They are not a limited edition, they are current product line.

Sir, I agree with you. Prices should not go down. In fact, I think it's the current price that supports this huge demand. Did I write somewhere that prices will go down?

Thank you for confirming that it's not a limited edition. That gives me some comfort that in time my order will eventually be rendered.

No business will succeed with out revenue/profit so of course this has to be the bottom line. ZT/Kershaw is no doubt making money on this knife, the advertizing it is generating is priceless.

It is common knowledge that other Hinderer/ZT collaboration knives are in the works How similar to the 0560? We will find out. Be aware it could generate similar levels of excite and hysteria as this knife.

It will most likely be considerably longer than 6 months before us late comers get out orders filled. And you will see that neither of your 2 predicted out comes are even close to the way KIA dose business. I am willing to bet my entire knife collection on that!

Great statement. KAI would not have priced this knife at a lower price point so as not to make money and give a gift to anyone who orders one. Of course they are making money off of them.

Any other ZT/RH collaborations will sell just as well. History shows that. I, for one will be on line for any others. After getting a 055X and awaiting a 0560, I must collect them all!

I stand by my predictions, but I hope you're right and I'm wrong. Nevertheless, the rule of supply and demand state that prices will go up unless demand drops off a cliff (yeah right).

Also, I have zero problems with companies generating revenue/profit. Especially an American company that keeps most jobs right here on our soil.

I've always drooled over Hinderer knives but could never afford one. I kick myself for not pre-ordering this one sooner.

I just got mine. It has the laser cut, thin lockbar separation, not a blemish, fires like a spring assist and fits my large hands with room to spare. Great job Thomas & Rick and all of the folks at KAI who had a hand in the making of my ZT 0560! :thumbup: ;)

I thought it was supposed to have a weird looking pocket clip for deep carry or something? This has a clip like the picture in the post above. Beautifully executed Thomas - someone's listening. :D
 
Handled one for future purchase at my local dealer today. Then went to a different display to handle and compare feel to a Strider SMF GG. Prefer the feel and overall value of the 560.
Light, seems thinner in cross section than other ZT's I have owned.
It is a winner. :thumbup:

My 0561 is waiting at home and I'm at work for another 90 minutes.

I attempted to get my girlfriend to bring it to me, but no go :grumpy:

That clip is from an XM-24. I'm not a huge fan of the deep carry clip so I had to swap it out.

Well it's waht my clip looks like. That big old squarish looking deep carry clip is MIA. Good!:thumbup:

I would like to know whats going on too, I for one like the deep carry clip and not so much the Hinderer original........
 
My ZT/H 0561 arrived today!

Thanx! to kershawguy, Rick & Thomas & Jimmer & the cleaning lady....thanx! to all involved.

Serial # 0029, and longer/lighter/slicker'n I expected....PERFECT, even for my gnarled-up motorcycle thumbs!
