New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Im not a fan of cf scales but who and where, if any, can i find some scales or any other parts?

Redbeard, post some pics up. What # did you get?

I got number 0601. I'll add a couple pics to this post when I get a chance to take them. I got the knife secondhand over on the ESEE forums. It has some small scratches on the blade, but I couldn't care less. This is gonna be a user for sure. I'm not a fan of cf scales either. I ordered a black and green G10 scale.

I pre ordered in October and don't have mine yet. I think a few dealers that don't do pre orders got some in but they go super fast. I got on an email list for a dealer but was not fast enough 60 gone in 20 min.

Just need some clarity..there's only been two different versions of the lockbar cutout, right? The first being the wider gap and the second, current, laser cut lockbar cutout..

I think they widened it slightly after the first few batches after switching to the laser cutout

I finally got around to laying the edge back to a useable angle on mine. I think it shipped with a 50+ degree edge. It is much better now. A few finnish issues but they do not effect the function of the tool.

There have only been two lockbar cutout types - the wider machined and the narrower laser cut. All current 0560/0561's will have the laser cut lockbar.

This is my ZT0560. There are many like it, but this one is mine....

I received my 0560 about a week ago and it has been my constant companion. When I first got it I was thinking of having it reground to more of a FFG, but the longer I have it the more I'm leaning towards just leaving as it. It's a better slicer then my previous 0400 and G10 Tyrade was, but still has a very robust feel. All the important aspects on it is perfect in my opinion, aside from the jimping which isn't bad just in need of some fine tuning. I'm am a bit underwhelmed by the KVT, I don't know what I was expecting though. For a blade of it's size it flips well, but knives like my Groove feel just as smooth. All in all, it's awesome and I can see it being with me for a long time.

Keep flipping the knife. My 0560 has gotten way smoother now that the ball detent has had some time to smooth over and the blade is smoothed down where the detent rides.

I've notice, and luckily it's as addictive to flip as a RAM.

Has anyone used their's enough to need a touch up? I'm pretty impressed with how well it holds a working edge and how just a couple of swipes on the crocks sticks bring it back to popping hairs.

I haven't had to touch mine up yet, but I knew what I was getting since I've got an 0551. Elmax is AWESOME stuff.
