New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I don't know if you are referring to my post or not but if you are, you may want to re-read it. I think you're confused. Where did I say the absence of a flipper makes it more like an XM-18?

I actually said I would like to see this knife released as a non flipper. I said that just because I like non-flippers.

Completely seperate from that, I said the knife itself (either flipper or non-flipper, I'm speaking in terms of the overall design) may turn out to be similar to the XM-18.

Either way: Two entirely separate issues. What difference does it make what I think anyway? It's not like I have anything to do with the design. . .

Yes, it was your post and thank you for clearing that up for me. I guess I put the two together. And your opinion matters as much as any of ours who are not directly involved with the knifes design.

I kind of liked this thread in the General Discussion area. I know that technically it belongs in the Kershaw forum, but it had such great attention in General area. Is it going to lose some steam now? I think that many of us agree that this knife will be a game changer for production knives and it should be front and center for all to see.
By the way, only 44 days until Blade Show!!!! Hot damn!!!!!!

It's ony a couple of mouse clicks away brother! :D

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that one of the reasons that helped this knife become a reality was the fact that so many people wished the 0551/0550 had a flipper version. Or it could be that manual flippers just plain kick a$$.

Either way, I think you're on to something here.

The more I look at this knife, the more I think it will be my favorite (as soon as I can get my grubby hands on it).

Can I get on a list and buy one at Blade?

Or are we just talking about seeing a proto at the show?

Thanks

Yes! I need to get on a list so that I can walk away from this thread for a while.

Thats the spirit ;) it's gonna be fun when we get these bad boys!

Ain't it great? This is one of those perfect marriages - a collaboration between Rick Hinderer and Zero Tolerance. You know it's going to be a super knife! :D

Long live the marriage. No divorce!!
