I gotta disagree. In the very specific use case of "carrying for self defense but not legally allowed to carry an auto" they have some utility. That's a pretty rare use case, admittedly. Most of us, myself included, don't carry for self defense.

I would love a new emerson collaboration.
I love the ergos of the emerson designs.
Should the fit and finish and chisel grind be right, my collection will have been full of emrsons....
Only have a ZT0630 for now, a non-wave version would be a good companion.

I like the washers and the lack of a flipper. Right now the only thing im not into is the yellow cf. I dont really like the colored cf but i think yellow might be the worst. Hopefully i am wrong. Maybe if it is an emerson collab it will get a large ti bolster to break it up.

CF scales will be replaced if I get one. Not because they're yellow but because I don't like CF at all. This also looks like a variation of a Firetac to me. They don't seem to do much with Emerson these days on the ZT side so maybe it is. But the Firetac also has a similar profile and a thumb disk.

Good idea for the firetac.
But I am not a fan of the hinderer grip ergonomics, so I may pass on it if it is the case.

I really prefer the ergonomics on the Emerson.
