New ZT0550 Thread !!!

I ordered from KC too. It was indicated to me that these are 3 to 4 weeks out. As far as I understand it from what I've read here there are two batches of 500 knives the first of which have been finished and are shipping to dealers within a couple of days and the second of which are not ready yet and are still about a month out. Apparently KC is getting their shipment from the second batch.

As a side note I'm really looking forward to this knife and I am really glad I was able to get one (for a while I was thinking I was too late). :D:thumbup:

Red,

KC.com doesn't charge your card till they ship. It sounds like gottahaveit27 may have the issue pegged. It's likely KC is part of the second shipment.

I think Kershawguy is getting a third or more of the first shipment.

I hope to hear from him tomorrow. Cash sitting in the Paypal account just waiting on this bad boy.

I knew the KC doesnt charge until it ships, but I would like to make sure that I will be here to get the CC statement out of the mailbox before the wife does!

Oh man I hope thats not true. Delays are going to start looking like a trend with this situation.

I see your problem Red!! Yes the wives are generally not really understanding when it comes to owning multiple high-end knives. Well I hope you get your knife without getting your ass in a crack with the ole lady. ;)

Gentlemen, you are approaching the situation incorrectly. You need to run interference, if you want an awesome knife you must buy her an awesome accessory. A Coach purse, designer sunglasses, an outfit of some sort. You aren't new to the game. :)

I would have never survived the 2010 ZT/H 0551 Knifevulture Vigil ,if I was fretful over intercepting the CC statement plus anxiously awaiting the release.

Nor would I ever suggest that a fellow Knifevulture take cash to the post office & mail a postal money order to Kershawguy or KC....

Even if he got worried that the ZT/H 0551 would be released while he was gone elk hunting with his brothers,away from Internet access,and that he would miss out...causing him to panic,and mail Kershawguy a check.

Really fine knives are very hard to find -especially sprint runs- but since Eden closed it's Garden,there have been no sprint runs on women. :grumpy:
 
im thinkin orange, tigerstripe and carbon fiber..... all within days from now. that should satisfy most....
 
I am still waiting for word too, so trust me as soon as I do , we will get underway. I guarantee you guys that I want this as much as you do. I am sure that they are doing the best they can. So just do what I am doing, Zanax and Diet Pepsi, you will be fine, LOL.
 
i stated in post #87 it looks like it will be after Thanksgiving before it gets our hands,it looks like i'll be right....
