Oh, and for those that asked, there is no indication of our numerical order on the email and I received confirmation that I was on the waiting list back on August 20th.
 
I got my shipping confirmation and tracking number!!!!! Should have it by Tuesday I would guess. Maybe even Monday.
 
I didnt read all the pages here ......... and was wondering if anyone knows how many of these are to be made or is it a regular production ???:confused:
 
Just a little update before I actually take a break, I have just returned from the PO and all that were paid for with the exception of one e-check and one being held by paypal, have been wrapped and shipped. Nearly 100 knives have been shipped and more are waiting for payments. I have over two hundred emails to sort through so if you are waiting for a response from me, it may be a while, I am concentrating on shipping first. As far as backup list people it will be a little while before I know, it is a holiday weekend and a lot of people are gone, so I will be allowing for that. I also did not get as many knives in this group as I first thought and I will be able to take care of many on backup but probably not all. I am scheduled to get some more in next batch. Please be patient all this takes time. Also I ship first class because the PO treats it the very same way, takes the exact amount of time to arrive, tracking and delivery confirmation, besides the fact it is cheaper and I can use a better crush proof box. Sorry about the snafu I had yesterday, it only took me 4 hours to clean up, but I think all is fine, did not affect anybody but me that I know of. So to restate, if you already paid as of 3PM Pacific time, your knife is in the mail and leaving Eugene tonight. Yahoo !!!

PS, if you sent money as a gift , you will not receive delivery confirmation or tracking, because paypal doesn't acknowledge a shipment. One of the drawbacks of paying this way.

I do all of my shipping USPS Priority. With a commercial account at USPS I do all of creating and printing of shipping labels online at home. As soon as I complete a transaction, if I've provided an email for the customer and asked that they be notified about shipping, then they will get an email notification from USPS that I am sending them a package. It doesn't necessarily mean that I've been to the post office and dropped it off just yet though;)

I know of the print and ship but the idea of a USPS in the garage was kinda cool :D
