Nearly 100 knives have been shipped and more are waiting for payments. Also I ship first class because the PO treats it the very same way, takes the exact amount of time to arrive, tracking and delivery confirmation, besides the fact it is cheaper and I can use a better crush proof box. Sorry about the snafu I had yesterday, it only took me 4 hours to clean up, but I think all is fine, did not affect anybody but me that I know of. So to restate, if you already paid as of 3PM Pacific time, your knife is in the mail and leaving Eugene tonight. Yahoo !!!

PS, if you sent money as a gift , you will not receive delivery confirmation or tracking, because paypal doesn't acknowledge a shipment. One of the drawbacks of paying this way.

Awesome news! Thanks for the update, and for all the work in handling this pre-order. It's especially nice knowing that, with you being closer to me than I thought, I'll likely get it a day or so sooner than I planned. Heck, I could've driven up that way to pick it up if I'd wanted to :D

You will most likely get yours Saturday. You can have first bragging rights, of course I already have mine, haven't had time to do much with it. Got all the emails handled today. Enjoy !

How do I find out which members here are already in the Blade Hall Of Fame? A 'search' just turned up references to the threads.

I dunno if Rick Hinderer & Thomas W. are already inducted or not?
...but they oughta be!

And I know a few folks here have already put in their recommendation, that Kershawguy be included in that elite few ...and he oughta be!

Before this thread was divided for sheer size reasons,it was 'of epic proportions',as they say.

Really hard for me to fathom why more avid ZT/H 0551 & ZT/H 0550 thread- followers aren't paying tribute to the collaborators & facilitators of this fine project, over on the 'Hall Of Fame recommendations thread'.

Takes less than 30 seconds,unless you're a single digit typist,like me.

Now I'll get down off the proverbial soapbox.

Wish I had gotten this shipped to work so I wouldn't have to wait to get home to see it in person.
 
Just got home from work to see a package in my mailbox...wonder what it was ;)

Working on pics right now, but I've got to play with my camera a bit to make them not suck. Never buy a DSLR camera, especially a cheap one, and expect it to work wonders out of the box.
