New ZT0550 Thread !!!

I believe Thomas indicated a batch was going out this week and more soon after. IIRC it was 350 and 500 but I can't confirm 100%

No not all are out Maxx. We have a batch of around 350 pieces leaving today/tomorrow. And are doing one more batch of about 500 pieces that will happen in April. We're not taking any more orders for the 0551 at this time.

You guys are killing me here! I already have too many knives on my pre-order/want list, and since the 550 will be a production knife, I put it on the back burner. I would also love to have an XM-18, but I can't justify a $500+ folder. The 550 is almost a perfect substitute, except for it being a non-flipper. Now I hear of a ZT/Hinderer flipper knife?! My wallet is NOT going to be happy, but I will be!

I have to admit, depending on what I see in any renderings, I might have to give the ZT/Hinderer flipper a try. As long as it still remains manual

I'm just loving my 0551. This is a collaboration team made in knife heaven right now.

Really like the shape of the blade but haven't handled one yet, it doesn't look as bulky as ZT300 series.
