Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., allow you to store documents, pictures, contact info, etc., in the cloud. There are also some very good online back up services. There are also syncronization services that push data between mutiple computers so that each one has the exact same files, favorites, email account downloads or whatever. The sync can be much trickier, however.
This is a good point for all to remember, I have Juno and it is a computer based program, so all emails and email folders are on my computer and not in cyberspace. I probably should start doing Juno web-mail and save in folders off my computer. Thankfully I do backup my files fairly often and when something is real important, it gets written down as well. So no worries on the 0551 guys , that info is written in a notebook and resides in the gun safe at all times.

Just to remind everyone of what is coming... :D

To any/all that have info on scotch brite "treatment" to titanium, could you post a link to info? I'm a big fan of working with scotch brite with stainless, but have never touched titanium and would like to see how it looks and if the process is any different. Thanks!

Scotchbrite for Titanium is trial and error but it is easy. You need to remember that it is softer than stainless and scratches easily. Use whatever pad you have been using will less pressure. I sometimes wear down my pad until it has lost most of the abrasives on a piece of scrap steel so that I don't get any deep scratches and then rub gently.

The "Search this Thread" function is at the top of every page, once you get into a thread.

3.5 inch blade, $250, I don't remember but I believe the 0551 is Elmax and the 0550 is Vanax.
$1000.00, 8cr13mov, 12" OAL :D

Use the "Search" function on the top of the 1st page of the thread guy. ;)
I might'a missed this.... any specs on the 550? Thanks.

Thanks guys, even with my 400+ posts I still feel like a novice on here most of the time.
Those are two steels I have no experience with, anybody have strong opinions on them?

You can search the forums for some discussions on elmax... not sure vanax has been used yet? Where on earth is Thomas?
