Easier to sharpen, no chipping, VERY small deformations when they occur, seems to never want to go dull, its basically all the hype S30V was said to be but this time its truth.

Here's some pics of the edge, read back to my earlier post for the story.

hard to see but this is the only damage from direct contact with the blacktop. I don't know about you but to me this is impressive. Notice how there is NO chips and only plastic deformation, very small amounts too.

Now you have my attention. I do have the 350CB but I have not used it enough to have an opinion other to say it was quite sharp from the factory.

around 200 dollars
black g-10 handles with a "brick wall" texture
October or at least we hope so

The first release will be the 0551 with Elmax steel, no choil, larger pivot bolt, black coated blade. I doubt we'll see the other model before the end of the year (0550). So far all talks are surrounding the 0551.
