Oh yea, I cant wait till you all get this folder in your hands!I have a feeling this thread will go ballistic then!

Dang, I really need to get that video done!...the hardest part is figuring out youtube..haha the fun part is cutting a bunch of stuff up with the 550!!

Alright, I'll take the hit. You can send the Prototype to me and I'll go through the PITA to make and upload the video for you. It's a garbage job, but I'll do it for every one here that wants to see a video. :D

I tend to think that a thread for a knife that hasn't even hit the streets yet, with over a 1,000 posts and over 57,000 views has already gone ballistic.

Once we get it in our hands the thread will go from ballistic to an escape trajectory!
 
Am I late in saying I'm gonna buy one?

Kershaw is really "doing it" for me lately, between my Leeks and Zing I've bought recently I have no doubt this 0550 will rock!

The 1000 posts may be indicative I'm not the only one looking forward to this knife.

Before I search through 54 pages of this thread, can someone tell me if there are the full specs for this knife within this thread?

I will echo everyones thoughts and say this knife looks to be a must have, I will also ask a stupid question, is that a glass breaker on the back spacer? and what is the back spacer made of?

3.5" blade made of Elmax steel for the spirit run ZT 0551.
 
Yes, it's a glassbreaker. The glassbreaker isn't making it to the final 0551 sprint run. Don't know what the backspacer is made from. Brick pattern G-10 with skeletonized steel liner, Ti framelock with lockbar stabalizer. Stonewashed 3.5" Elmax blade minus the forward choil.
