The 0551 is made of Elmax steel and the 0550 Vanex steel. The 0551 G10 is a brick pattern.

Twenty pages of speed reading this thread: some GREAT pics of the early sprint parts, the same questions asked over and over again, lots of BS back and forth, and the line that really made me chuckle...

But I already got mine hehe I know I know..not nice! haha

I just realized while I was reading that my favorite knives are my Volt, Spec Bump and 0200. I can never decide which one to carry. I guess that list will grow when my 0551 gets here.

I am really looking forward to this one!

Couldn't you all just switch to instant coffee for the week until the machine is fixed? Or maybe someone could bring in an electric kettle and a presso coffee maker. Tastes better than the machine anyway.

I don't believe that I will ever have a knife that I keep as a safe queen. This will be used gently for a long time to come.

I'm getting one - BUT - that's the only part I don't care for is that brick pattern. Kershaw - always with the little extras that detract. Great knives though. I'll shut up now before I start on a litany of their product "extras" that I don't like and keep me from being a Kershaw-holic.

I guess I like minimal in appearance like the Sebenza for instance. Stark and beautiful at the same time.
