New ZT's for 2017 what do you love?

About the only think I see from ZT or Kershaw that I have interest in is the Kershaw Dividend.

What a generally disappointing turnout...

0850: Maybe. I don't hate it right off, so that tells me it may grow on me. It would depend on price
0460: Probably not. I've always lusted a little after the original, but like the original it will probably have semi-functional ergos. Persian with slender grip: Nope.
0055: No. No. Did I mention "No"? Ugh, take that goofy grind and slick handle away.
0920: Maybe.

All in all, not looking to spend much on ZT offerings this year. Again.

0850 looks like a winner to me. I'm very curious to know if it has washers or bearings, because nowhere does the literature mention bearings. To be honest, I'd be happy if it was on washers.

The SLT flipper technology looks pretty awesome, although I'm not a fan of the blade shape on the 0055.

Also, the Kershaw Natrix is absolutely the funniest thing I've seen in quite a while. Good on them.

I take back what I said about the 0460. I thought it was a big blade, the same size as the 0452 but it's actually just a bit bigger than the 0450. I might like this knife a lot. I'll probably buy one just to check it out.

For those with a Hinderer MP-1 you can buy a cheap throw away version now. Lol

I am all over the 920, I want it bad at all cost. Love Les George's designs...the 850 maybe but me thinks I won't spend the cash on that but get 2 or 3 nice spydies instead.

I am disappointed but im sure these knives are wayyy better in person.

honestly the designs are too fancy for my taste, looks more like "man jewelry" then usable tools.

nothing wrong with that, just not my priority.

It is interesting how ZT has morphed there production line more and more into the style of the limited line.

I still want a ZT456 though :D

MEH! They seriously rehashed the 0801 and called it new?
I have an 0801 and I like it but it's not their best design, why reinvent something that isn't that popular?
I only bought one because I couldn't pass the deal up on it, I use it as a work knife.
I love ZT's but I am not impressed in the least this year, at least they are on par with Benchmade as far as sucky 2017 knives..

I thought that as well. Looks are deceiving on that one. Like you, I'm definitely more interested after seeing that it has a 3.25" blade.

My biggest question is what happened to the Emerson collabs? ZT has essentially made one Emerson design with a blade shape variant. That's it. From the way they talked at the beginning this was supposed to be a full on partnership, but it's really starting to look like Emerson mostly wanted a slice of that inexpensive, overseas made knife market without tarnishing their "Everything Made in the USA Forever" image.

IMO the new ZT looks not bad. I actually like 0055 as it's something different from their usually lineup. However, my favorite of the bunch is actually the 0801Ti, which is probably odd.
I also like the 0920, it's just too bad that it's a little bit large for my taste, wished that it's 8.25" to 8.5" range.
On the other hand, the 0460 seems too small for me, i thought it's gonna be 0452CF size. You need a much longer handle for curvy design like that. This is similar to Cold Steel Talwar, and even at 5.25" handle people complained that it's too cramped due to the curve.

I don't see anything that appeals to me. But then again, there's only so much you can tell by a picture. I guess Bladeshow will be the soonest I can check their new offerings!

If that is it then no new ZTs for me this year. Disappointing. Oh well, lots of other manufacturers.....

Not a whole lot is wowing me from ZT, but I DID crack up at the 0920. Guess they have decided to go after some of the money that's been flowing to Reate.

Or going with an original from one of their collaborators.

^Hinderer probably realized that a ZT version would be too close to the original in terms of materials, quality, and fit and finish.
