Newbie collaboration knife?

Seems like it is taking a bit longer than I thought it would before it got to me but I will have my shop set back up within a few months hopefully so I should be ready to work on it.

Eric,

You're still iwaiting for the other two pieces before starting the grind, right?

*******LOST*******

Damascus, custom made. Last seen in the possession of knifemakers Cantrell and Mandt. :D

Actually, Eric is doing the grind on the hunter and camp knife. Mr. Hampton is doing the grind on the hawk.

Looking forward to receiving the camp knife so that I can profile/grind both the hunter and camp in a similar style. Until then the lonely hunter is resting, waiting for its companion knife to arrive.

Alright, is this thing falling apart or what? If there are problems where we stand right now, please let the group know so we can make the appropriate fixes. Scott, can you contact the outstanding parties directly to discuss any issues there may be?

It shall be forged next week. Gator show is this weekend and I'm still "living out of a suitcase" as i have not had time to assemble my storage cabinets in my new shop:eek:

Thank you. We have an eager grinder that will be happy to hear this!!!

Now for Mr. Cantrell.....

I'm almost, almost there! :(

I've got to borrow a guillotine fuller to draw out the spike. Got it scheduled for next Tuesday.

Nicely done! Of course, I'm sure that J. will call you a wussie for not doing the whole octagon thing ;)

I'm SO glad that the steel held up to the splitting and drifting...that was my biggest worry...

Can't wait to see it fully forged....

Coming right along, MSC, and looking great!:cool:
