Nick Wheeler Prototype Fighter. "Oh YEA "......

Oh, sure, NOW I see the :)

We must have been typing simultaneously !!!

I got a package from Nick this afternoon and five of you guys are going to dance for joy when you see these knives... (and it won't be the sheath that makes you dance). They are just in orbit! Each and every one is better than the next and then you start the circle all over again

Nicky, you did FABULOUS, my boy........and that "lonesome one" was pretty damn nice too!;)

Paul

Sorry folks... I posted earlier.... when I shouldn't have... I was upset and it showed in my post. I'm sure a lot of folks saw it, and wondered what the hell I was thinking. Let's just say it was all in poor judgement.

Joe got me thinking straight. Thank you my friend. :)

I am in awe that I get to do this stuff for a living, and it is 100% because of you guys. I'm sorry if my appreciation for that seemed lacking earlier. It wasn't, I was just mad at myself. I took a couple deep breaths... because Joe made me, and all is well again. :)

On a happier note... if you like watching grass grow or paint dry, you'll love this video I made. :foot: ;) I made it more for helping out a couple friends, and to share in shop-talk... but I know a couple of you guys like the "how it's made" stuff. ;) :) Look out Snody, my videos are on your tail. ;) :p :D

Thank you for the heads up and kind words Paul!!! :)

As Roger P is occasionally given to so eloquently remark, "OOOOOOO, BABY!"

That's my knife?

THAT'S my knife.

That's MY knife. :D

I'm so sorry I have to say this, but that was like watching porn. Maybe a little longer.

"hopefully, maybe, that will help somebody out. Thanks!"
Classic Wheeler. I love you man.

Everyone I have spoken with is happy to be getting one of these terrific blades - I know I am. Looking forward to seeing what Paul turns out and requesting in advance a group shot by Paul of the knives in sheaths.

Roger

Hey guys, Will's is done and gone, and I just wrapped up Jeff Laramee's a couple of minutes ago, but it's still here in the shop. Roger's scout is next up on the bench. Now I can hold these knives here for a group photo with the sheath, but that will delay mailing of those already done. I don't mind doing that at all, but I would like to hear from the rest of the guys, Jeff, Roger, Mike, Jon, Greg, and Nick on their feelings about the delaying of the separate mailings until they are all done.

PS> Will's looks exactly like the one Paranee is using for his "user". The all back sash sheath.

Paul

Okay for mine to stay to the end - it's not going to be real long at this rate anyway. But if guys want their mits on them pronto I more than understand - just please take a pic of each one with a sheath even if a group / sheath shot doesn't pan out.

Roger

Great vid Nick ! Thanks for another cool Wheeler thread !
Congrats to everyone who scored one, awesome to say the least !

Will, you sure have been stacking up the killer blades recently !

Doug

Thanks, Doug. Yeah, this has been a fun time for me. Besides some coming in that have been on order for months and years, I've recently had the good fortune to get in on both these projects of Joe's. My stash is just a tiny pile compared to the real collectors here, but I'm tickled with it. :)

I can wait for a group photo - should be interesting!
In fact if I get to the PO soon enough you can send it back with the knives I'm sending for "shoes"

I just can't stop playing with this thing

Been on me for a few days and the thing is a blast To play with

I know here have been a lot of pics of this knife but these dam cell phone cameras are so convenient :)

Look at the flare on that handle very secure the shape lends itself to a very nice rocking motion which makes it a snap cut monster

Btw I can't stress how important good leather is

If a knife does not carry well you don't carry it

I have been carrying this blade IWB under a blazer every day

No one has seen it

it draws like lightening and is very comfortable

Thank you Paulie

Paul I'm ok with you keeping my combo for the group shot.
