Thanks to Morrow for unlocking this so I can post this update.

Got my knife back from the post office today. I want to thank Monofletch again for everything he has done and for following up with me to make sure I got everything. He is truly a wonderful person and I owe him a debt of gratitude.
Thank you to everyone for helping out Mappetizer and myself, providing support and effort to make this right.

Truly a stand up community
 
Good to hear, hopefully more people will search the person they are about to do a trade with to find out a history. Glad a happy ending was achieved in this case.

McBokerson was scammed with the same knife I was offered. And I just on instagram that he sent the 228 out to get modded. So for sure it's not coming. No tracking was ever produced.
 
He had pics of a Chavez on IG yesterday but it looks like he had two from what I could see. It seems his IG account is now private.
 
So, are we still looking at the fact that someone got scammed by him?
I can make another effort to impress upon him that doing the right thing is a good thing.

It may or may not involve persons who carry badges and sidearms.

The guy that modded 228 that is a friend, I have notified him of Nightstalker's action. I've also told a bunch of other makers & modders to blackball him.

Yeah, I saw that modified chaves he posted to instagram. I attempted to confront him about it, but instead of responding to me, (didn't expect him to, but hey, worth a shot) he blocked me and turned his account private it seems.

James already has the chaves back unfortunately.
