Yeah the coating stays under the handle for the most part. In some places you'll see a little gap, maybe about 1000th of an inch and you just need to be careful not to let water sit in those areas. I've never had a problem with it though.

After all of the coating is removed I go around the handle with a toothpick and toothbrush and a little extra stripper to get that clean look.

Looking good, Tom! I also got a Tanker with Black Paper. I love it. Those sheaths are looking great, too!
 
Can't believe that I forgot to put booze in my bug out bag. Off to the liqour store to remedy this problem.

Booze = antiseptic and sedation/anesthetic, just in case you needed some further justification.... ;)
 
Just want to say that you all are killing me with these NMFSH pictures. Been wanting one of these for so long and I'm so close, but yet so far. My tracking number says it was going to be here yesterday, but that doesn't mean much when you live in the boonies of Alaska. Hoping it will show up tomorrow! Tanker gray and black paper if anyone is keeping score. ;)
 
Mine was supposed to be delivered on 12/31, It finally showed up today. Not my first Busse but my first new Busse.

Just checked the tracking, mine was scanned into Sydney earlier today. It should be in and out of Customs tonight/tomorrow and at my PO Mon or Tuesday at the latest... :D
