NMSFNO Pics!!!!.. . . . .

Ahh Man! I had a whole CC pay-off plan thing going. :(

THANKS ALOT JERRY BUSSE, THANKS, A WHOLE LOT!!! :grumpy:

:D

wow, this looks GREAT!

I wonder how fast these will be coming though??? The NMFBMs hit my card way faster than I thought. I'm going to have to be careful on this order. They sure look nice!

Born of 1/4" thick INFI stock. . . .

All exposed outer edges are Nuclear Meltdown ball bearing finished . . . .

The blade is just over 8". . .

All grades have hand finished convex sabre grinds. . . .

You can choose between machine grooved magnum handles or hand ground smooth ones on the combat grade models. . . . . .

There is a serial numbered Limited Edition with hand shaped . . . . .

Good luck HOGs . . . It will be here tonight!!!!

It is AWESOME!!!!!

Jerry :D

I wonder if there is a difference in thickness in the LE and CG, afterall just cause its born of 1/4" doesn't mean it is 1/4", right? Either way I'm pulling the trigger on both :D.

Not sure if I'm feeling this variation. One of the things that makes the SFNO so beautiful to me is the proportional difference between the blade and the handle. At first (and second and third) glance this seems a bit too long in the blade. I feel similarly about the SJTac/BATac. Guess I'm one of the odd men out on this. Hafta wait and see, though.

Keep in mind that the perspective of Jerry's pics accentuate the apparent blade length. I wish he would give us straight-down views so there is no distortion. Even better if there was another knife in the shot for size reference.

so how much will this beauty cost in the CG config? 4-500 dollars?

I hope not. That's NM FBM money.

In the recent past, CG SFNO's were going for just over $300.

Interesting design.. Looks like a mix between Old Steel heart, Sarsquatch, Fusion steel heart... 8" blade.. hum... might give the FBM some competition as a chopper... What is the blade design??? It does NOT look like a Saber ground blade, unless the nuclear melting process has melted out the upper saber part of the blade.. can't wait to see what the options are going to be on this tonight... as well as pricing ( the all important question)
I guess you guys with the original saber ground SNFO's are breathing a sigh of relief after seeing this new design. Not really an SNFO in the traditional sense, so yall can still ask $650 for you oldies. I'm looking forward to holding one of these to check out feel and balance..
Chop on!

Heck no, Marine! $750.00 at least!! ;)

Well.

I really shouldn't partake.

I've got like 10 satin originals ... all beauties ... many sabers.

The economy is in the toilet. And rotating fast.

My 403(B) looks like Osama practiced a WMD attack on it.

Credit's tighter than Tony G's youthful girlfriends.

I'm in. :D But in a 'reasonable' way. I hope.

Fearless prediction: Basic CGs in the low 3's; LE around high 4.

I wish he had told us the price before he makes them available.

That way I can scrutinize the pros and cons of actually buying one.

Also, no machined handles on the LE? Le sigh...

My dear Grim, nothing is easier than changing those handles. You could even talk the Shop into doing it for you ... if you've got a sweet patter. ;)

hmmm, i love the original sfno and love the nuclear meltdown treatment, but the blade just seems too long to me. the old length just looked perfect. great point on waiting for a NM badger!

Bingo. It will be different and heavier due to the thickness and grinds (convex/saber are thich heavy grinds) but the added length should not be as dramatic as it appears in the pics.

Looks like a FSH with a SFNO handle. Gotta say I prefer the older saber grind based on the pix posted so far. The Satin Jack might be interesting with a longer blade, but I think the SFNO was fine where it was. After all, it made a fine logo.
