NMSFNO Pics!!!!.. . . . .

Sure you are!

You're a very excellent 'bugger.' [Hoping that's not misunderstood!]

I just have enormous resistance when it comes to my SFNOs. :)

Touché !

I will go lick my wounds now and start fresh tomorrow. :p

This knife is exactly the same dimensions as the original except for 1 additional inch of blade. The Melt Down treatment is killer cool on this model ! ! ! !

Jerry :D

Ok, compare the two designs. what are some pros and Cons of the new model compared to the old one.. I'm looking for some thoughts here guys..

I'll just quote myself. :D

Thicker, longer, heavier - better chopper, not nearly as good in smaller work. That's about it.

It's pretty simple. Other differences are ones of appearance, except perhaps the handles, which might well be more comfortable with the NMSFNO.

Honestly I know some might really like the old one better but I like the newer version better. It is 1/4" thick, sports both saber convex grinds, has the NM treatment (which I like a lot), and has an extra inch which I think is good for it. I think it will be a heavily solid and overbuilt model but very sweet. Only time will tell though and it's all preference though.

I'm glad to see Busse Combat going back to bigger blades on their knives. For a while it seemed like they had too much handle-to-blade ratio. I'm in on this one

I have to say I much prefer the old model. The blade is now too long on the new model for my taste. The old one has the perfect dimensions, balance, and look. I hope Jerry will one day re-release the same old SFNO. I thought the melted handles and convex edge were nice additions though.

Not sure if I'm feeling this variation. One of the things that makes the SFNO so beautiful to me is the proportional difference between the blade and the handle. At first (and second and third) glance this seems a bit too long in the blade. I feel similarly about the SJTac/BATac. Guess I'm one of the odd men out on this. Hafta wait and see, though.

I'm with you, Gatman, sounds like others feel the same way too. The good news for me in this release is the credit card goes unscathed. The bummer is I really was looking forward to new SFNO's. We can still hope!

+1
the blade/handle ratio on the original SFNO's was perfect (aesthetically and as a user). And I like the FSH more than this new NMSFNO. But I'm going to order one nonetheless:D

That is an Awesum Look!!
Will more Busse models be offered like this? I hope so. Thanks, Jerry.

This is the best looking knife to come out of Busse in a long while, my favourite since the CGFBM (we need another run of them please Jerry!). Please leave these up for a little while, many Aussies will be trying to get these but the battered Aussie dollar isnt helping us right now.
