The curves on this thing make it destined to be a stripper! But it's my only one, a roll stamped smooth coat..... decisions decisions. A nice 1st world problem to have.

Just got mine in. Just stipped it..first Becker that I removed the coating on. Really like how it turned out after putting a mustard patina on it.

Always wanted to add a 17 to the arsenal, but love the 16 and figured I had plenty of time.
Looks like I managed to slip in under the fence and get one of the clearance ones.

I had a feeling that they wouldn't last till the start of the sale. I sure am glad that I got on day 1 of clearance. I appreciate the clarification.

It started already Wed at 12:00 am midnight. That was early this morning. It goes till Mon the 23rd. Looks like a lot is gone.

I own a few Beckers and the bk 17 is my favorite. I got to use it a lot this summer for hiking, camping and other outdoor chores. I never felt the need for a another blade. The size and weight are perfect to have attached to your belt and not feel encumbered. The clip point really comes in handy, more so for me than the 15 or 16. So with all that said I'm surprised its being removed from the Becker line up. I'm glad I was able to pick a back up 17 before they all sold out.
BTW I spoke with kabar today hoping to grab one for a friend and I was informed they are all sold out now.
