:cool:...My two ( 2 ) Pig "boinkers" arrived this afternoon and they are some honkin' brutes...They are the FIRST fixed blades I have bought in over 30 years. Yep...both stamps are as gooser's and everyone else's are...Just remember...If ya see any with perfect stamp location...Think

:cool:...Actually I had planned on giving 'em to my sons-in-law for Christmas but I'm not totally sure about that right now...LOL...Gotta see what direction the economic wind blows first I guess...LOL...:eek::D:p
 
My latest one arrived also. It is the same as the other two.

I was hoping for one of the boxes with the labeling like Decaffe's. That one is still a puzzelment. :rolleyes:

AND, I see that OTHER item has had some editing done to it. The title is no longer the same and that quantity amount is gone, so you guys did good in querying him about it. query = jack him up :p

So looks to me that we are gonna be in limbo till Joe or Vassy, or Jimmer, or Hengem pops in here with Clara Fication. or was she one of the ones that got the ax also...:o

Also, no reply to my e-mail question about the source of the "1 of 60" statement but you are correctomundo...it's no longer listed as such...now it's "VERY LIMITED SUPPLY".

OK OK OK i went and did it .. no i cant tells ya what i did but ya all knows me ...
itty bitty co-hon-ies and no pride..
the store had no idear the 651 knives were GONE untell they went to get them
and they were not there...
some other group sold them... not the store!
folks at buck paid about what we paid at the store
shock and awa on the guy selling them at less then 50 bucks and
shock and awa on the one that sold buy it now at 140!!
several there on the mountain are thinking of selling thiers now! and
several there on the mountain thinking of buying one from eassy
all employes are limited to buying only 5, yes that is FIVE,
knives in a 30 day time span so it was not a case of some employee gettiing all them...
like as not it was a dealer got them for him at that price! or he is a buck dealer or
had a relative that is a dealer..sales information is confedental and can not be reviled .
soh who the hebell knows..

as we all know personaly there are reasons we have a yard sale and sell some things
at a loss in value to keep the things flowing ...
not every one will work for bg42? ..
well i guess we would.. but they need grocerys...

notice: as of right now -
PETE could not keep up if he worked 60 hrs a week ...
he is totaly swamped!
and he does not have the help he had..
there was some issues with shiping or some place as a few boxes with names that were reconised had been returned for some reason !!! no one knows why but it is being invesgated!!!please stand by..
buck is working on issues best they can..

Sharp as all heck, hair popping sharp down the entire length of the blade, and all grinds are even and clean.

Gonna be hard not to use this one.

:cool:...I gotta say this about these "brutes"...When I took 'em outa the boxes to look 'em over I was amazed at how they were able to get these huge chunks of metal as sharp as they are...SHEEESH...I touched an edge to some paper and it went through it like the paper wasn't there at all...Amazing...Beautiful, even grinds as well...:eek::eek::thumbup:

Yea I gots one... Iz it frida yet? :)

Now I have to go back and read all the pages of posts to fingure out this whole "crooked stamp" issue. The one 651 I have, if you look close, the B looks lower than the K. Like the BUCK is tilted some but i'm only talking about maybe a few thousandths.
On our blueprints, the stamp location is basically a "for reference only" callout since the stamp does not effect the use of the knife. It would have to be pretty crooked to deem the blade scrap, I mean "a collectible"....:rolleyes:
