Freakin' fun, huh? We just home from hiking, and did another meal with the Emberlit as well. I'll post up the hike later. Not as scenic as Shawnee, but still fun.

No biru for me either....I'll have to go when the roads open back up if they end up getting closed. I managed to sneak back this morning before the winds picked up.......I was home less than an hour and it was really howling. We got snow before the wind picked up and now its blowing it around like crazy along with a bit more snow here and there.

Hmm... it was 72º here today :D

But it's gonna be 18º by Tuesday morning. :(

It's been a crazy rollercoaster around here.
 
Finally Cracked.............. Just got that ESEE 6.............. Ugh........ I really need to quit buying knives.

Man you weren't kidding. I just flicked up a Vaseline cotton ball, dropped it into some cedar shavings, fed it pencil-size twigs for minute or so, and then it was off to the races! So much fun! Plus the steaks turned out superb!

I'll have to make a few more comments on it later, about to sit down to some whiskey and cards :D

Thanks for the recommendation--this thing kicks so much butt!

The more I'm seeing these stoves, the more I'm liking them. I was wondering though how hard they are to clean up afterwards? what do they look like after a few uses? do they not warp from the heat?

Yeah, you and me both. I thought I had the eye blocked so the doors wouldnt do that. Guess I didnt do it well enough. I think I am going to let the elevator guy fix it if it happens again. Was a freakin close call.

Not hard to clean up at all. If it warps, it's very slightly. Doesn't affect assembly or use though.

Do you have a titainium one or steel? is it worth the extra $$$$ to get the better one?

I ordered ss, and the guy messed up and sent me the Ti one. I didn't think it worth the extra money, hence why I ordered the ss one. It doesn't weigh that much more.
 
I've got the stainless version and so far have been able to lug around the extra four ounces.
