Delicate was probably a better word than cheapish. Just never really appealed to me either.
Are the Jetboils built better than they look? I have read how efficient they are, but they look cheapish to me.
Dubz, I got one of the very first ones from the owner of Hooper's. It has been on every single trip I (and we) have taken since then. Never had a glitch and it's banged around in dry hatches, packs and the back of the truck for years. The same one still goes everywhere we go. I would bet my life on it.
Which color'd you get, Nathan?
I thought ads were supposed to be gone on the 20th. I still am getting ads even a week later.
Wow, I had no idea. Do you think the earlier ones were built better, or have you seen a later model?
That's a damn good question and I don't know. That is the only one I've ever used. We did pick the bigger one up a while back and have had it out a few times. Seems well made to me.
