Some of it ended up here....

Thank god for my beast of a Craftsman snowblower! When the plow makes that nice 4 foot high drift at the end of my driveway I set that thing on ramming speed and just charge that drift! Sure beats yea old method of taking an hour+ to do it by hand!

I hear that. I have a big driveway, and still do it by hand. Of course, the snow drifts right on the sidewalks, and in the driveway. Go figure.

The first year we lived in this house I did the driveway by hand. The very first storm we got in the winter dropped about a foot and a half on the driveway. It took me 4 hours to shovel 2/3rds of my driveway. As I was just about to bridge the sidewalk my neighbor came out to give me a hand with this snow blower. In 15min he had it all cleared up. From then on I absolutely had to have one! My brother-in-law is an auto mechanic and owns his own shop. He had an elderly gentleman come in to get some work done on his car (something simple) and offered this snow-blower up as payment for the job. It had not been started in 10 years because the man could not use it. My bro fixed it up and give it to us just before winter. Cheers to awesome family (and friends).

i got the mega driveway, and some areas that need clearing regularly from drifts; shoveling by hand is "right out". so i got a MACHINE. i can do all of that from a storm with two feet in under an hour and less than one tank. awesome.

that said, yar: http://www.kubota.com/product/bxseries.aspx

i want one of those. lots. 15-19k loaded. 9k entry level. sweet. maybe i'll find a used one :D

it will do it all. dig, drill, backhoe, mow, plow, drag, push, lalala

My brother in law has one of those up at his place! He just doesn't have all all the attachments. He has the mower and the plow. His place Is about 2 hours north and his driveway is about 100 yards long so he kinda needs one. I can't Justify it for my 36 foot driveway (can fit 2.5 cars long and 2 with room for doors wide) but if I ever won the lottery you better believe I would have one!

Oh heck yeah, a major Hollywood star (or writer or director) would never get away with that stuff today.
You're kidding, right? Please tell me you're kidding. I enjoy several JW movies but let's face it, he couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag.
Actually, no I'm not. I'll explain why though.

He didn't act, he was just John Wayne being John Wayne. :D
This is what made him, in my opinion, a great actor. It wasn't his ability to act which was low, but he knew his limitations.
Anyone else remember him playing Genghis Khan?
Oh god I tried to forget that, I tried so hard!

That said, I really think he did a great job in True Grit.
He did, the remake was HORRIBLE!
Yup that's a classic. He's vastly under-rated as a comic actor. When he tried to take himself too seriously, it was usually pretty awful.
McClintock was one of my favorite movies growing up. I think in general he was one of my favorite actors growing up.

Just got my new AR-15 upper yesterday. I'm really stoked. About 3-4 months ago, I traded some blades for store credit at my LGS, which I used to order an upper and a few parts to complete the lower. The upper just wasn't coming into my guy's supplier, but he mentioned last week that he had a friend looking to get rid of an upper in the length (18"+) and caliber (.223 Wylde) that I was looking for (wanted to build a really accurate varminter-type). He asked if I'd be happy with that one, and I said, as long as it's reasonably good quality and meets the specs, I'm fine with it. Turns out it's a LNIB Seekins Precision upper with 5R twist. I think this is going to be a really sweet build.

I was thinking the same thing... I guess I'll have to fondle my other 3... I really need to find a good deal on a San Mai to check it out.

Hah! I guess great minds do think alike... because I am currently fondling my bk2....

Fondling the BK2 is like fondling an elephant dong! No matter how you do it, it isn't graceful. But the 5, or the 11, or the 9, it's like fondling Monica Belluci!

Ok I may have just spooge'd. For a carrying with a CWP this ammo looks like it has some damn good stopping power.

Not going to lie, the ever changing thread names are pretty hilarious.

"There is something wrong in Densnark" had me almost fall off the couch laughing
