That's a nice knife daiz!
I've actually had decent luck with citrustrip. Spray it, wrap it, let it sit for an hour or so, then scrape.

I am thinking about stripping a few knives while I have way to much time on my hands ... but I am looking for the some options on what might work best?

I have used citristrip and tried an acetone concoction a guy gave in the past ... me but neither did a great job. Any suggestions on what has worked well for you?
Jasco, but it is some nasty stuff. It will eat through rubber and plastic.

Thanks Geof ... I had read a bit about Jasco ... it may be an option on my older blades if I don't see a better option. I was waiting hoping for a bit milder alternative to strip one of the new 18s and leave the coating under the scales.

Anybody have any ZT knives? If so, what do you think?

I started to strip my 18 with Jasco tonight. I let it sit on for a half an hour, but being that it’s cold outside it didn’t work as well as it usually does. It only partially stripped the coating off, so to be continued tomorrow. The good news for you, I left my scales on and the Jasco didn’t effect them.

good to hear ... I may get some and try taping off a metal scrap and see if it would work. I have sanded coating off before but am hoping to avoid that much work again. I'll be curious to see how your 18 turns out.

Thanks, 1066vik 1066vik . I’ve been looking at a few ZTs lately, just wondering how they are.

That’s pretty cool.

DerekH DerekH , a Green Lantern ring? Who’s: Alan, Hal, John, Guy, or Kyle? Answer me please, this is important stuff.

(The only appropriate response is Hal’s, though the others are respectable too, especially Alan’s.)

The only appropriate answer is Hal's ring, obviously. Mine was based off the Ethan Van Sciver run during Rebirth and following that leading up into Blackest Night.

I got in touch with him and asked if I could get him to sign my variant cover of BL 1 and he sent this back on the backer board.

There for quite awhile the ZT 0560 was THE folder to have among Beckerheads. I got mine after Moose and a few others showing theirs off at one of the gatherings. Great knife. Very stout. Lot of ZTs seem to find their ways into the hands of Beckerheads.
