Hmmm, gotta work on the space part of that equation...

Hooray, shark teeth !

The lettuce I had sown has sprouted. More than I anticipated, so I had to sort through them and replant everything. Took me quite a while.

Then there were a bunch (like a few hundreds) of saplings of horse chestnut that needed to be dealt with. Most were easy targets for the shovel but a bunch were too large for it. Estwing and bk24 to the rescue. I hit a rock with the Estwing, chipping the upper corner. Nothing the Lansky puck couldn't fix.

And I just got back from a short hike. My girlfriend and I have been using these to go out more and work on our hiking rythm. We started with half hour walks, now after a week or 2 they're starting to be 1.5 hours at a very decent pass. We're discovering a lot of nice places around us.

The only appropriate answer is Hal's ring, obviously. Mine was based off the Ethan Van Sciver run during Rebirth and following that leading up into Blackest Night.

I got in touch with him and asked if I could get him to sign my variant cover of BL 1 and he sent this back on the backer board.

Straight up awesomeness there!

I thought Rebirth was great; Blackest Night not so much. :)

There for quite awhile the ZT 0560 was THE folder to have among Beckerheads. I got mine after Moose and a few others showing theirs off at one of the gatherings. Great knife. Very stout. Lot of ZTs seem to find their ways into the hands of Beckerheads.
Good info. Thank you!

Yeah, it went out of its way to cover so mich instead of focusing on telling a good story. Unfortunately that seems to have happened or be happening to all comics. Glad I got out of them when I did.

Same here. Missed all that 52 and new universe stuff.

Nice, I got a couple spyderco's I'd like too. I'm waiting on a Fiddleback Forge Bushfinger with green burlap.

It was about 3 ish months ago I was saying I can say "no" to most knives because I already have 6 that do the same thing and my real weakness is handguns.
Well the BK18 got me thinking about knives, checking the forum everyday to look for news on the release date and checking Knife dist. to see who had the best price and who was gonna carry them. Before I know it I'm wanting this and needing that. I started slow with used USN Mark 1's on that auction place that start with E and ends in Y. Got a couple FallKniven S1's then I started picking up the pace. Found my groove so to speak. And then I go till the money is gone.

Anybody by a new knife lately?
I bought my first chainsaw last week. Does that count?

I needed to start getting after a bunch of smaller trees that need to go at our new house, so I ended up picking Husqvarna 440. It cuts very well, but man is it cold blooded. From a cold start I let it warm up on high idle for a couple minutes and then start using it. It won't actually stay idling after that until I've been using it for 10 or 15 minutes. It had a little bit of a bog from idle for a while that has went away, so I'm hoping this gets better too.

I can relate. Sitting home with not much to do, except tend to a relentless tide of work emails coming in (close to 500 a day now) is very conducive for me to think I should treat myself to something I want. :)

That's madness!!!
So far beyond my worst experiences, and I spend a lot of time communicating at work.

Yeah, we have a pair of Husky 455 Ranchers that are bombproof. They start within three pulls even when it is below zero and they idle great. Nice powerful saws that are very durable and reliable. I also have a Stihl MS250. It is a great saw but it does not start as easily as the two Huskies. I like the Stihl because it weighs less and I am apparently now middle aged.

Well yes. Two Leatherman: a rebar and a charge plus. The former for in my fossil hunting pack and the latter for around the house.

Also a case swayback in chestnut bone and carbon steel. Maybe something else I forgot...

so far, 6 sets of micarta scales, 2 sheaths, 3 sheath adapter/dangler accessories, handle material... and no toilet paper. No half-and-half either. Scratch that, none of the GOOD stuff that I use for making yogurt. It's like people are spending all day on the sh*tter, guzzling organic half-and-half. If they'd just leave some for me, they'd need less TP. And then I could have some of that too.

Pro tip: if you yogurtify your milk products, you won't need as much TP.
