I do know Wordpress has all kind of upcharges to control features, eliminate their ads, etc. Definitely investigate that angle before you decide.

You'll be fine. A week from tomorrow will seem like you've known people a month, and a month from tomorrow will be like you've been doing your job for a year. 40 hours a week (OK, 34 for you ;)) is a lot of time to spend at one place with the same people. The hierarchy and interpersonal stuff gets sorted out pretty quickly, because that's the way people are, anthropologically speaking. Before you even know it, some other guy/gal is the noob.
When I finally go back to work - good lord, I've been doing my job for 19 FREAKIN' YEARS! - I'll have a new manager. He will be trained. Funny that most of indians have been there through more chiefs than we can count. It's always interesting watching them try to figure out their guys (me) because they almost always have some ideas about how things should get done, but when you've got guys that have been doing their jobs for 10, 20 & 30 years, it's like trying to out-stubborn goats. The only managers that ever lasted more than a year are the ones who realized right quick that the guys like me, on the bottom of the corporate structure, are the ones that get the stuff done that pays their salary.
G-shark: Good luck tomorrow and in the year to come. Get in there and kick A$$! Politely. And without any self aggrandizing.
 
i'd prefer some vicuna myself. unless you have guanaco :D
