Its a bit complicated to manuver but easy to post.I reverted back to an older version. Jury's still out on the updates.
Damnest thing. Two sets showed up on my front stoop yesterday. Sawhorse bracket fairies are real!!!
The fairy put four sets in the box. It sounds like a robbery to me. You don't f#%k with fairies. This is bad.
Hey Psyop. Your M9 still throws well!![]()
Isnt the first time![]()
That's awesome Jerry.
Thank you & thank you.... I'm pretty proud of my old man's handy-work. I was adding it up in my head, I believe he's been doing restorations like this professionally for right around 20 years now. I saw this one as a work in progress, but didn't get a chance to see it in person. For him to say he's going to miss seeing it leave, it had to have been something else. The owner, who is a great guy that lives not too far from Dad, picked it up today. It sounded like he was wound tight with excitement over taking delivery of his Jeep.Sick jeep Jerry. I like those old military ones that can be literally be 'field stripped' in a few minutes.

Funny story: shortly after we brought home the 3 CJ3B's and the CJ5 I bought a few years ago, we were tinkering with Dad's running CJ3B from the lot. I made a comment about wondering how well the supposibly rebuilt engine I got in the deal ran. Dad throws open the hood of his Jeep and says, "Lets find out." So we get at it... In less than three hours we were out driving in his Jeep around using my rebuilt engine.I like those old military ones that can be literally be 'field stripped' in a few minutes.
I surely hope there isn't a horse and barn metaphor here.My arms ache, my legs ache, my hands hurt, but I had fun getting that way.
2 Strokes are fun.
That would be a fun one to read. I try to do something similar with any new knife I get.... Take the time to get to know it, so to speak. To paragraph 3: Will do. I'll most likely write a somewhat daily post in a thread made specifically for it, then compile them all at the end and write a long-ish summary/final thoughts/review and put the compilation of daily posts in a thread along with the final write up. (About halfway through writing that I realized it was probably incoherent, I can explain better tomorrow if need be)
Right now I'm leaning toward the 15, looks like it would cut/slice/shave better than the other tweeners, andsince I already have a 9 for really heavy work, I need a medium size slicer. Plus, price and choil.
Again, thanks for the offer, it's hard to believe someone I've never actually met would do something like that.
It sounds like you are taking a nice little spread of blades. Have fun & take lots of pictures!
Thanks! That was the plan, but unfortunately it has rained all weekend long, so I've been laying around in my hammock reading instead. Still a good weekend if you ask me

The BK15 was the one that never appealed to me...... Then I held one... The 15 is spectacular. My wife and I were both lucky enough to get one at Ethan's last weekend. Yes it is "thin and slicey," but I'm going to say that I believe it to be tougher than I had originally thought when I was just looking at pictures of them online.
Oh, and I don't think there is much risk to James here in his wager. At worst, he ends up with another 'tweener,' but I guarantee that it will not come to that.
Got another cold steel trail hawk in the mail today. Gonna mod it a bit, and give it to a friend.
