Multiple knives are a must with me (paired fixed blades, plus a folder or 2). 1 per side minimum. You never know when you'll need a knife and it's not available being on the wrong side.

True, but I may (if it's allowed per JT's rules) carry the Case on my left side, and the BK15/6/7 on my right. If it's truly an emergency, I'll have a backup.

James, another question, do you want me to keep sort of a log as to what I did with the knife, thoughts from using it for the day, etc?

Woah, that's some offer.

From my POV, the worst that can possibly happen is, I buy a broken Becker from you. I doubt that will happen, but if it does, I'm cool with it. The best that can happen is, you will spend a lot of time using a good knife in many different situations, learn from it/with it, and keep it.

Am I allowed to at least carry another knife? Grandpa gave me an old Case knife of his that I carry, but hardly ever use, and if I didn't use it it wouldn't hurt, right?

I have no problem with that! I would never stand between a person and anything that was handed down to them by a loved one.

Please do! Pics are welcome, of course :) A diary or log like that might make for a cool thread here in the forum. All I ask is that you pick a Becker "tweener" and work with it as much as possible for a month. I'm not trying to put you on the spot, I'm just encouraging you and offering backup. Again, if you don't like it or it breaks or fails somehow, I'll buy it from you, regardless. That's the deal.

Got my Craftsman cotton/leather belt in today. Very nice belt. Thanks for the heads up tradewater.

Link, please? :)

To paragraph 1: I would imagine I'd have a hard time with myself selling a broken knife (even a used one for that matter). If it would happen to break and wasn't my fault, but I just didn't like the knife, it would go to Ka-Bar for warranty and then I'd probably sell the replacement. Like I said though, I really doubt that I'll get a Becker that I don't like, and unless I'm being a moron or it's got a bad heat treat, I really doubt it'll break either.

To paragraph 2: Alright. Strictly for carry/fondling only, no cutting with anything except the Becker.

To paragraph 3: Will do. I'll most likely write a somewhat daily post in a thread made specifically for it, then compile them all at the end and write a long-ish summary/final thoughts/review and put the compilation of daily posts in a thread along with the final write up. (About halfway through writing that I realized it was probably incoherent, I can explain better tomorrow if need be)

Right now I'm leaning toward the 15, looks like it would cut/slice/shave better than the other tweeners, andsince I already have a 9 for really heavy work, I need a medium size slicer. Plus, price and choil.

Again, thanks for the offer, it's hard to believe someone I've never actually met would do something like that.

Splatoon's a pretty cool game. Played it's demo from 11 PM-12 AM last night, about 7:30-8:00 AM this morning, and I still have a 3-4 PM period to play this evening. (they only open the demo to play for one hour increments, 3-4 being the last)
