I wasn't fed sprouts and asparagus growing up. Maybe my parents were on to something. I lovem both, esp with butter. I'm known around these parts for "don't feed him asparagus". I started a bed about 5 yrs ago that's going strong. Right now is harvest time, perfect for grilling OUTSIDE lol.

I like your attitude, young man. Let's make a deal, just between you and me. (I do not represent Becker Knives or KA-BAR in any way.)

Get you a BK16 or a 15 or 17 ASAP. Keep it sharp. Put aside all your other knives, including kitchen cutlery. Use your Becker "tweener" around your farm and fields and kitchen table for 30 days.

I'm talking about true EDC testing. I mean, use that one knife for every cutting task that you have to deal with, from breakfast to supper, from barbed wire to peeling potatoes to cleaning a fish or your fingernails or whatever.

If you honestly don't like it after all that, I will buy it from you for the same price you paid retail. Even if it's dull or chipped or whatever.

You down for that , or not?

I still owe dad 10 bucks for the ZT knife I got a few weeks ago, but as soon as I get him paid off and get enough cash, I'll probably do that. I doubt you'll be getting whichever knife I pick, though. :D

Am I allowed to at least carry another knife? Grandpa gave me and old Case knife of his that I carry, but hardly ever use, and if I didn't use it it wouldn't hurt, right?

Multiple knives are a must with me (paired fixed blades, plus a folder or 2). 1 per side minimum. You never know when you'll need a knife and it's not available being on the wrong side.
 
Got my Craftsman cotton/leather belt in today. Very nice belt. Thanks for the heads up tradewater. :thumbup:
