Vendors are starting to get Magpul's new line of AK furniture in. I'm excited. The Romanian wire folder on my WASR is pretty solid but not particularly comfortable and I've been wanting an extended front handguard.

so i'm thinking of making some handles for my 14. not sure what material though probably either wood or micarta. do any of you guys have suggestions on what to use and where to get it?

You can make your own micharta from whatever clothes you don't want anymore or find at the thrift store. Then you can customize it with different layers and stuff. You could also get some G10 and make scales from that.

No wonder all the vendors are out of stock. Between you and Mr. Handsome, all I hear when I try to order them is the sucking sound of hard vacuum.
 
Ok, Kydex people, I've been thinking about wanting to learn how to do it, but now that the great eyelet experience is on, I need a good source to learn. Got a favorite youtube channel or other source?
 
Had a total "fat guy" moment tonight! Made a meatloaf after getting home from work tonight for the family to eat tomorrow while I'm at work (made brussel sprouts as well but that's neither here nor there.) Made it using 80/20 ground beef, ground up bacon, and spices. Basted with a home made BBQ sauce using white wine, mustard, ketchup, sriaccha, chipotle cholua, and brown sugar and cooked it in a cast iron skillet.
Then I took a bagel sliced it in half, then those halves in half and dipped them into cast iron skillet and the drippings from the meatloaf. Took the meat loaf slices that were left over and assembled them between the slices of bagel and slices of horseradish cheddar cheese. Made a Meatloaf Club Bagel...

I'm no foodie, but I totally wish ANY form of exercise sounded half as good as what you just posted.
