OK, I've read thru this (and applied my own voice to the posts) and he had apologized for what he did. Robert, if you recall, I responded to one of your posts awhile back regarding $trider Knive$ (think it was called "covering your assets? and had to do with copying work?? ), somehow, with the help of Kevin we all made it thru. Anyhow, a bunch of guys over hear jumped my case.... I promptly apologized and it wasn't good enough. The ragging seemed to continue on and on.

Now it seems the same thing is happening here. When he apologized it should have been the end of it. I'm here again but this time in defense if Robert Hankins. Theres absolutely NO SENSE in continuing to hack on him. Keep up the good work Robert.

BTW the usn group is one uptight bunch of hermaphrodites

Wolf601, dont you find it ironic that your hacking on Robert Hankins now...and several months ago you were ganging up on me for the exact same thing you were defending him for back then? Probably not...because if you read the thread back then you would have understood. But you dont read the threads, much less try to understand them. You are simply a shyte starter only fan flames.

Like I said, he apologized, give him a break.

Some just dont get it , perhaps they never will , until someone rips off their design or idea ...

Well I would have stayed out of this but I just learned that myself, Ira and a bunch more of us are HERMAPHRODITES and Ira is a Shyte.Well I guess that answers a lot of questions I've had for a lot of years, and I always thought it was my kitchen that smelled like Sausage & Fish!!!!:confused:
 
I expect he meant a bunch of daffodils. Gets rather flowery at USN I'm told and Ira is a petal for sure.

Anyway I'm just wondering - no doubt everyone has a blade or two - will the gang jackets be coming out soon, or what?

Man, you sure do make some nice knives, especially the 'camp' style knives!

quit coddling Eric, I'm pretty sure he's been a nice BFCguy, but if I were to register a new name just to flame people, I'm pretty confident I'd be booted off even the likes of this place...
 
Read through each and everyone's reply. I think it's proper to say: Cool off folks, cool off...

I'm a designer myself and i'd be pissed if someone ripped off my stuff. Robert apologized, regardless if he is sincere or not, if he is caught copying again...we have the rights to boot him off. Easy isn't it? Besides, he didn't made truck loads of cash from this episode. We all taught him a lesson so hopefully his creative juice starts flowing...can't get it going, Robert? Email me, i have tons of designs that i don't have the cash to make. I've been following the maker's forum for some time and most of them have the skills but lack the creative mojo. If Robert had put grooves or lines on the spikes and photographed the "nails" diffrerently, all this would have been avoided.

Robert~ Be inspired, not copy...ok? Ask for help and you shall receive.

Well the problem is that there are a select few like yourself that continue flaming this thread only because it's a chance to take shots at the USN. All this reminds me of Jr High School on a boring day when a fight would break out in the yard and everybody would run to watch it screaming and hollering and jumping up and down.

It's done, over, finished, get off the net and go sharpen your knives!
 
Well I havent looked at this thread for a few days.. WOW! Hey look, guys like Blackwood, Hull,Blair and myself arent out to drive Hankins into the dirt.. We ALL try to help makers as much as we can.. We dont like people that steal idea's and if we get a little worked up about that fact, please try to understand.
It seems to me that Hankins has resolved himself to produce original designs now, and to do otherwise would result in his utter failure in this buisiness... I say we ALL stop this NOW, and not bring it up again UNLESS Mr. Hankins decides to do otherwise... BELIEVE us when we say we arent out to get Roberts customers, we are plenty buried in work... Just trying to stand up for what we think...
