He was upset that his name was int he thread that HE posted in?
Maybe he doesn't know that he is a member and member's names get included with their posts?
Maybe he thinks he's invisible, like Wonder Woman's plane?

...because I put "spf to hhmoore" in the thread ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1356863-1311-Still-available ) and while I was busy eating dinner with my wife he PM'd me saying he wanted his name removed from the thread, and then filed the claim with Paypal when I didn't see his PM within a half hour.

Not doing business there ever again.

Insane. I really believe some of these people are either mentally or socially defective.

Unless by "name" you mean his actual (e.g. IRL) name, this seems to defy basic common sense.

Sounds like buyer remorse maybe

Does he know about this thread? I've done a transaction with him. Went very smooth.

Seeing as he hasn't replied to my PMs or emails since he filed the claim, I highly doubt it. I issued a refund and it's over, but other people might not want to deal with the same issue in the future.

It looks like it's going to be a very busy year for you GBU Mod's, Esav. Can I send you some coffee, or maybe a gift card where you can buy some? Sincere thanks, for all of the thankless time/work/energy that you guys donate to keep this site running as smoothly as it does.

Edit: Best of luck OP, getting everything squared away with your PayPal account. The lack of communication/consideration (if this turns out to be the case), along with the action taken by hhmoore, shouldn't be tolerated here!

I'm not doubting you OP; it would be helpful hearing the other side to this story.

I wouldn't do that in my sales thread, but whatever, he makes the rules there. That other business needs explanation IMO.

Oh, and nice quote in your sig there buddy. Didn't know it was okay to quote a banned mod sassing troll to insult other members with every post .

I didn't know you devoted so much time and attention to trolling me...;)

For posterity:

Well I've only had one bad transaction in my time buying and selling on these forums. The issue was similar. A guy sent money through paypal then immediately filed a non receipt claim for the knife. I was hesitant to ship , but I felt obligated to try and make it right, so I shipped the knife. Well anyways lost the knife and the payment, he said he never received the knife even though the tracking said it was delivered. I'm not naming names because I'm over it and consider it a lesson learned. The guy was a non member who responded to the email address I posted. Just want to say that for the majority, everyone that I've bought or sold or traded with was courteous and respectful in our dealings.

I have people write me and say they want to place an order. But when I reply and ask for their name and address so I can quote them the correct price and shipping charges, they refuse to provide me with any info. I mean, how can I ship the order when I don't have an address for the buyer? This did not used to happen... things is definitely gettin' stranger ... ;-)

I'm at work - and will respond to this in the morning when I get home (unless I get some downtime before then).

Oh, I just cannot wait for your response!!!

You declined a sale on a POS knife because the MEMBER posted in "your" ad?

As if your ad and your rule was some sacred writing?

Oh boy, 2016 starts out in royal form!!!!!

Reminds me of a guy who shipped ups ground because I Didn't pm my mailing info fast enough. A half hour is an eternity for some people.
