Northwoods Michigan Jack

Awesome color and heat scale on that one! A lot of character!

Thanks man! It already bit me [emoji23] I put a wicked edge on it that whittles hair and it snaps shut like a bear trap, caught my pinky and took a good slice out of it. Pouring blood and I was up in a tree stand bow hunting! Took a good 20 mins of compression to get the bleeding under control

Mailman was good to me today.

Michigan Bloodwood was waiting for me in the post. Happy with how it looks - love the grain.

For those that like a lineup for comparing frame sizes...
My Northfield Yankee Barlow, the new Michigan Jack, a Broadway Jack and an Everyday Barlow in box elder:

Been there before! Sounds like a well built, strong knife! see anything out there? I haven't been out with the bow yet this year. Mine can't get here soon enough, its my first rustic Northwoods.

It is! You'll love it. This is my first as well, I saw a nice buck at 80 yards but couldn't get him to come in any closer! You going this year?

Anybody have notification of when the latest batch of Michigan Jacks will be posted on their site FSF (Stag, Sawcut Blood Red, etc.)?

Awful quiet around here -- Happy Halloween!

Does anyone have a 'low rider'? With the Broadway jacks, some of the blades sit a little lower in the handle when closed.
One of mine is low and the other high.

On my Michigan, there's a bit more than 1 millimeter between the handle and the bottom of the 'S', very similar to how MrBitters beautiful bloodwood appears.

How is yours?

Tremendously bad day for photos, but, here are a couple of quick ones of my bloodwood. The wood itself is in the same league as Barry's SFO. Very happy with this one!
Thanks,
Brian

Got mine on Saturday. Even better than I thought it would be! Great blade! It's almost too nice to use...almost..:D

I have not seen this knife with Stag. Does it exist ?
I have not seen any with Mammoth either. At present only camel bones are available.

All the stag used in the Michigan Jacks were harvested from deer hunted personally by the KSF crew.

Same with the mammoth.

Man, that stag looks really cool. I must resist, however. I think I've hit my Michigan quota.

Sorry, forgot about the no sales posting issue. Keep it about the knife..
