Not a One knife thread…but something like that

Well other than my Victorinox Classic which I always carry except on a plane, I guess my Hinderer XM-24. But the VIC Classic is so much a part of me that I have several backups NIB just waiting until it is their turn. But I also carry the XM-24 everywhere except at work, so If I lost it I guess I would go get another one.

Actually, now that I think about it there are some other bigger folders, I have that would probably use, like a RJ Martin Devastator or maybe a Spartan Harsey folder.

For me, either one of these knives would get replaced immediately, without thought or hesitation.

Small Inkosi or SG Spider Monkey.

Neither is my new hotness, either is my perfect EDC. Small enough, classy enough, and tough enough to take anywhere. Large enough to do almost anything I ever need.

I would also immediately replace my PM2 S110V…which I don’t even particularly like, until I have a crap load of cardboard to break down or other serious business to take care of.

This one. Made by my uncle Glenn Hornby before he passed away. I bought this with lawn mowing money when I was about 12, about 33 years ago.

Here is my dad's, also purchased from Glenn about 33 years ago.

Nice fixed blades right there, looks like he knew what he was doing with both of those!

The Spyderco Sage 2 that TSA in San Jose commandeered. I'm "between" Sage 2's currently... they're not so easy to find.

I was not aware of this brand and just checkd out their website. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I am thinking of ordering one of Sonoma V2's in canvas, they look like a great company.
And yes! I recently bought a Giantmouse Ace Grand. I'm pretty blown away by the quality, and of the knives currently in my posession, it would be the knife I'd replace asap.

Immediate replacement?

Leatherman Wave + (I think that's the name). I carry it every day.

Cold Steel Voyager XL Tanto. It's light, strong, easy to sharpen, holds an edge well enough. It does every job I set it to do, and it would probably be a great defensive tool if that ever came up as well. Best of all they are generally cheap on sale, so if I do lose or break it I can get another.

Or, rather, I could. With the new GSM Cold Steel they will probably replace the Aus10 steel with Chinese liner metal while cranking the price to a couple hundred plus.
