Belt just blew out. Gotta wait for another to be shipped in, hopefully soon.

This darn thing costs a 1000 bucks a day to run.

Sometimes I wish I was a wandering hippie with a backpack, a couple bucks, a map, and a BK7.

Probably live longer with less stress!

What is that impressive looking piece of machinery?

It’s a high/low temp controlled seed dryer. It force dries seeds and pods. It is useful for early harvest which has a couple advantages such as faster turn times, or to lessen environmental damages like birds, fungus, or insects.

Pretty sure that’s his espresso machine...

I wish!!! As of now I just French press cheap coffee...Yuban. Melts the spoon and zaps ya with caffeine!

I have been down since October 28th . Every knife of mine that there is any chance I might use is sharp enough to shave with . However I have not sharpen the kitchen knives, since I can't drive my lovely wife to urgent care right now.
You're wife needed to go to urgent care? What's going on?

Of he sharpens the kitchen knives properly, she'll probably amputate something.
I know from almost 38 years of experience that my wife doesn't do well with truly sharp knives I know how sharp to make her kitchen knives . . I have my own kitchen knives that I keep put up . She bought a kitchen ulu many years ago ,she actually brought it to me for my stuff because she cut herself EVERYTIME she used it. At the moment my right foot is in an air cast so I would have to call someone to take her to get stitches

My wife likes knives nearly as much as I do. Trying to think of her blades. BK4, BK14, BK15, Condor Bushcrafter, Mora Companion, Vic Camper, Breeden neck knife gifted to her by 1066vik, ESEE Zancudo, T.M.Hunt Hornet he gifted to her, Mora Eldris, Tramotina machete, and that's all I can think of right now, haha. She uses her BK15 the most, mainly for food when we're at the cabin. Sometimes she carves up a harpoon for her hair.

Promised myself I’d hit the lakes hard this ice fishing season. Looks like it’s gonna be a long one.

Same here. My son likes fishing with Meal worms but they’ve been impossible to find at the bait shop since the pandemic hit. Last week I bought him 1000 of the creepy crawly things and he’s happy as a clam.

We have them in a big bin with oatmeal and carrots. I wish I knew they were so easy to raise years ago.

My wife also loves knives. She uses them as scrapers, screwdrivers, hammers - pretty much everything but cutting with. I learned long ago to ask her what exactly she’s wants when she asks me to borrow my knife.

Nice. I keep putting off grabbing bait and throwing them in my fridge/freezer. Maybe I should do it sooner rather than later.

Oh, the bait shop chronicles!! :D

I have not fished this past decade nearly as much as I would like. Before I went on hiatus, Okuma was a derogatory slang word for garbage tackle. Not anymore, it would seem. Come last weekends yearly barrage of Black Friday sale events, I was tempted to reevaluate my opinion of the state of Okuma tackle. Ok, I get it now.
