Not the last time I buy from an online retailer

I bought a knife from Knives ship free and it’s absolutely the last time I buy anything from them. The pictures they posted do not show a hole in the scales and they did not let me know through specs. I know there’s always the possibility of imperfections in wooden scales and not only I don’t mind them, I actually prefer wood because of that but this is too much .

Your stock picture that you linked is from Knives Ship Free? Where did you actually purchase the knife from? That is a big nasty void, but really Bark River's fault for sending it out of the factory like that.

Yeah, I was just about to post the same thing.

There is a whole bunch of weirdness going on here, and I don't feel like we are getting the straight facts. That's what the OP gets for supporting scumbag criminals like Mike Stewart at Bark River. No sympathy from me, on this one.

You’re right, my mistake. Got the names confused for a sec. I even went back and checked who I send the email complaint. Thank you. DLT and REC are the only one that I’ve not had any problems with.

Honest mistake and corrected instantly, thanks for the guy that pointed it out. Your opinion is useless to me.

I'd say he gave you good advice.

Being able to admit ones mistake is a virtue. But so is the ability to accept constructive criticism and a little friendly advice when you make a mistake.

But these are just more "useless opinions" :)

In any event, not a Federal case. I hope you get the knife issue worked out to your satisfaction.

I’ve had a pretty lengthy discussion with that guy some time ago, where he told me that I should not talk because I had a different opinion.

I exchanged a Bark River from them once, because the wood handles were like that. Wasn't any problem exchanging at all.

Perfect - that means it's my turn to post...
On second thought, I don't have anything to say.

What was KSF's response to your complaint?
They sent me their return policy (which is 10%) restocking fee. I told them that I don’t want to return the knife because I didn’t like it or the colors a off but because it’s unusable and haven’t heard from them since. I still haven’t contacted brk. I’ve used their warranty directly once and took care of the issue very fast, I thought I would try to do it through ksf to see if their warranty works or choose other dealers for next purchases.

No, you had a WRONG view of the FACTS. I have no problem with differing opinions.

There's a big difference. You can argue over opinions, but only fools and lawyers argue over facts. And I don't believe you are a lawyer.

Anyway, enjoy your crappy knife.

And how long ago was this?

The knife isn't unusable - it will still cut things - but I would be upset if I received it with a void like that.

To be honest, I don't think I've purchased from KSF since Derrick passed.

The handle cuts faster through my hand that the blade through rope, it’s not even covered with epoxy.

I'm not disputing that the void should have been filled... But the question remains how long ago was your communication with KSF?
