The knife has not been used, it’s ridiculously uncomfortable to hold and it actually hurts when you apply pressure. I’m confident brk’s warranty will fix it my issue is with ksf sending the knife like that and telling me they’ll take 10% to restock a knife that should obviously not be in stock.Well, you said "the handle cuts your hand quicker than the blade cuts rope" or some such. That's why I quoted it.
If you have used the knife, you can't really send it back for a return.
At least an honest fella wouldn't. It would have to go back to BRK for warranty at that point.
How are you "applying pressure to it", exactly? Might need to do a little video. The knife has not been used, it’s ridiculously uncomfortable to hold and it actually hurts when you apply pressure. So it’s ok that BRK sent it out the door like that but you have a problem with KSF doing the same?I’m confident brk’s warranty will fix it my issue is with ksf sending the knife like that
I also, am confused by this.So it’s ok that BRK sent it out the door like that but you have a problem with KSF doing the same?

I’m confident brk’s warranty will fix it my issue
My issue is not with them sending it out, I don’t expect them to personally inspect every knife, my issue is with ksf warranty, I’ve just sent an email to brk, if they don’t make it good either my issue will be with their warranty too.So it’s ok that BRK sent it out the door like that but you have a problem with KSF doing the same?
Well I am just as shocked as shocked can be that the OP is having problems with a Bark River knife.
If only he had been somehow warned! Tragedy!

Yes it is, that’s when I contacted them directly and they sent me another knife. What are the pictures of the other BRK in your flickr account, looks like a terribly uneven primary grind?
So this is the replacement? That sucks.Yes it is, that’s when I contacted them directly and they sent me another knife.

So this quote that you posted in the previous thread is a lie then? Or you’ve actually had 3 poor qc’d knives from brk. If so that even more hilarious.Yes it is, that’s when I contacted them directly and they sent me another knife.
