Like I keep saying when Gianni confirms that they have left his factory you will hear it here first. Knives are all made, he is just waiting on the boxes.

It was pretty clear from the announcement yesterday that they SHIPPED FROM ITALY YESTERDAY.

WHEN THEY GET HERE THEY WILL BE TIGHTENED AND SENT OUT.
 
This is the part that confuses me .............
when Gianni confirms that they have left his factory you will hear it here first.
 
250 Limited edition knives shipped yesterday from Italy. The second they hit the ground they will be inspected by me and shipped out over the next couple of weeks....after I have them. Production model is made but waiting on the boxes. As soon as they ship you will hear it here first. The dealers will then turn those around and depending on the shipping method and speed of the dealer (most are small businesses) they will be in your hands.

I have been walking around with a production model and a LE to show the trade. Its kinda like going on a date with someone else's girlfriend.
 
RYP the ones for european customers you will never get your hands on, is that right? Will we still get te signed certificat, and all the goodies?

Yes European customers will get the signed certificate and goodies shipped separate.

There is no "fun" at SHOT. Its like the Battaan death march but with lots of fat guys in the way. Think I saw a total of of three of four booth babes. Other than that is just wall to wall ugly..:))

I misread the OP. I thought he was talking about the regular production knives at first.
And thank you so much for your suggestion! It's been so helpful. :)

no worries. I already got his name (R. M) which I'll keep to my self. We'll see but I bet he isn't listed in a database. If he is, I'll give him my hest-f.

I ( as well as I am sure a few others smartly not wanting to stand up and take the flack I am taking for asking the big question) am simply looking for an answer. Your answer is you will wait for Gianni to finish boxes and then tell us period. So is that like a week a month,,??

I have hundreds of retailers around the world that if there order with me was 2 months overdue, while holding their valued customers preorder money I would get a call saying get a exact date on the boxes and subtract a week from there answer as acceptable.

As far as your shot at me that I am making stuff up,, like taking your preorders on knives,, perhaps your still jet lagged or someone isn't telling you whats happening at home office,, but

Seems that a preorder link with take name and Email is taking preorders on a second knife.

SO the "factoid is back in the dark place you pulled it out from"

My point was don't market additional knives until you can deliver on the money we have already spent and wait for overdue delivery.



I have never seen a situation where 1000 passionate fans and customers wait for first knife and with no answer and being behind time line promised, you introduce at a international trade show and taking preorders for knife #2.


6) We are not taking orders for knife #2 (whatever that is) So please put that factoid back in the dark place you pulled it out from. We will be doing dealer roll ups once everyone has handled and used the DPx HEST and I am very confident that each and every customer will be impressed.
