Not Whining, but would like a definative answer please

I would hazard that the thread turned bad right after the OP typed, "This post is not meant to be hostile or whining."
But that's my take from a safe distance. I'm not out any cash over the forthcoming HESTS, though I do have a regular production on order.
Tomso, I do hope you keep us posted on your search results.
 
This HEST/F is a knife right?

From all of the hoopla and stress about it, I thought that maybe the HEST/F was actually an artificial heart or some other medical device that would cause a 1000 people to die if it didn't arrive soon enough.;)

I have hundreds of retailers around the world that if there order with me was 2 months overdue, while holding their valued customers preorder money I would get a call saying get a exact date on the boxes and subtract a week from there answer as acceptable.

Seems that a preorder link with take name and Email is taking preorders on a second knife.

My point was don't market additional knives until you can deliver on the money we have already spent and wait for overdue delivery.



I have never seen a situation where 1000 passionate fans and customers wait for first knife and with no answer and being behind time line promised, you introduce at a international trade show and taking preorders for knife #2.


6) We are not taking orders for knife #2 (whatever that is) So please put that factoid back in the dark place you pulled it out from. We will be doing dealer roll ups once everyone has handled and used the DPx HEST and I am very confident that each and every customer will be impressed.

atleast im not the only one!! hell you would think this is the only blade to ever be made until the end of the world..

we all want it. i guess some of us have lives. i like bladeforums but for shits sake if i wanted to hear all this crying i would go watch lifetime or something....

No one threatened you. As far as being rude, are you a SEAL? Did you graduate BUDS? Sporting that username is why people are being rude to you, and if you haven't earned the right to display it then you have no business calling others on their etiquette. If you have earned it, then kudos and answering Tomso would put it to bed. The fact that people often think they can sport the title because they played one in a video game tends to ruffle feathers and you should understand that either way.

As far as the HEST/F goes, I'm waiting on the pink version.
 
I recall RYP/DPx offering to refund any money paid to for the LE knives if you don't want them anymore, and I think a few weeks ago someone posted a similar thread to this and he was refunded his money.

No, you said you were not going to whine, and then you whined. Let's have a look again at what you posted in a public forum when all you needed to do is send a private message or email. RYP doesn't have a clue who I am, but he has responded to my PM's here at Bladeforums. In the case of the original post, it sure seems like you're trying to drum up some sympathetic voices and rally the discontent. If you're unhappy with the time line, then I suggest you take up RYP on his offer to refund monies promptly. That is... if you've ordered a knife in the first place. You never make that claim clear.

So far i have heard about packaging extras for the lucky LE owners,, so what do the 1000 production owners care, and waiting for answer from Tomso but not a real answer to the question when.

I love how cash positive it is to take money, pay manufacturing, then deliver, wow nice if we could get away with that trick in real world ,, NOT.

Please inform your adoring audience when they will get there knives, so far all i have heard are excuses but not redefined time lines for execution on delivery.

My speculative take is that no Navy Seal would look at the replies in this thread and claim that he was "threatened."
I really hope you see fit to change your username or stop posting at Bladeforums.
Otherwise, people are going to continue to hound you about this misrepresentation.
 
"UDT-SEAL Fan" would work if he isn't frocked otherwse it's not appropriate IMO.

I was just a CTT - stayed safe under a mountain spying on the Soviets and other places that didn't like the U.S. - collecting "stuff" for NSA off of satellites and the space capsules when they had one up.

SEALS are real life heros just for volunteering for duty . . .

I see this is a no win situation with a bunch of guys like you worshiping, defending and cheer leading with a sit back and accept any deliver times good with me Mr Super knife guy attitude.

I asked a frickin question that's all and still got no real answer. Yes I have ordered a production HEst/F knife from a reputable retailer and yes I paid on order. How can I be unhappy with a time line when there is non offered. Hey put mine in a frinkin brown box and get it out the door. Hey I am putting extra goodies in 250 LE boxes when 1000 production blades are waiting for retailers, doesn't fly. Hey if you are tolerant, you haven't paid out $210 and accepting of others incompetence, cool go with that plan,, it will lead you to great rewards in life.

Hey I love the knife, love price, love the design from images.

Sorry I am not scared like many in this world to ask the hard questions. There is no personal attack against person only corporate policy. Reread Tomso post he felt I was totally justified in asking the question and had a perfect right to do so. HMM ?

I am glad to carry on with this on further attacks or let it go. Clearly I will take it direct and be calling Dpx tomorrow, though I guarantee i have heard the only answer ,, were waiting for Gianni to get off his ass and make a box.

Lets all rave about this knife early march when production models come out after your LE's are tightened??? and resent.
