Nice to see this thread up and about again

Tsar That Daddy Barlow has a most interesting groove to it, look forward to seeing more notables from you.

Here's Bonestag from Queen and Bark River

Great notable pair Will...those bonestag match up so well, and from two different companies and knife styles.

CSC amber stag bone on the cannitler and trailing point hunter

swaybacksteve Thank you, I'm keen on Bonestag when it has decent jigging depth and those two do compliment each other!

Duncan Fantastic duo of New Trads and Old Trads. I bet those Millers used to have deep jigging but an eon of pocket-carry has smoothed and burnished them to a treat. Great stuff mate!:thumbup:

A pair of Northwoods:

A pair of camel bone blues:

A pair of knives I just happen to enjoy seeing and carrying together:

Ooohhh! That Northwoods '25' is a burly little beast and has the looks to match, very nice indeed.

Thanks, Will

Thanks! All the #25s are 'overbuilt,' as you know, but this one is especially... wholesome. :)

I believe the #25 was the first of KSF's offerings in [their take on] the Northwoods line. Or at least, it's the first that caught my attention, with its rustic spine treatment, lettering, etc.

Yet another favorite favorite.

... Do Trios count, or is that another thread? ;)

One pair for each day of the week... Some days are "dressier" than others in the construction industry but I try to have 1 working knife in a belt sheath and a show-off knife in a pocket slip.

Monday gets the beer scout and the Washington punch

Tuesday gets my main working knife, an NKCA 73 and a custom 72

Wednesday aka Hump Day gets a pair of users... Northwoods 48 and a Bull Nose in green micarta

Thursday's choice is a 42 in antique green jigged bone and an old Beaver Tail 73

Friday gets a little more dressed up with a 48 trapper and a Spear point barlow.

Saturday has a couple smaller knives that see little use typically. Northwoods Broadway Jack and a little pearl for fondling.

Sunday gets really dressed up for church with a pair of barlows.

pistonsandgears, Nice images of some fine pairs. I particularly like your Whittlers.

Here's a couple of Case/Bose Collaborations that go well together, I think.

Thanks Gary, thats a fine looking pair you have there as well. Always have liked the look of the Norfolk as well.

This pair makes a great package for any day. Mudbug and Talon both dress in green linen with their black leather pants.

This pair of Davisons just makes me feel like a better man lol

Sarah Let me add further enthusiasm for that Northwood 25, it's a killer -if you see my meaning:D:thumbup: Did they have a 'name' can't remember? Triples are OK here, think of the old rhyme about Magpies "One for sorrow, Two for joy, Three for a girl"...seems appropriate:cool:

Ben Those Davisons make me feel a better man too just by looking at them:thumbup: Remarkable work that has life to it, some customs can seem sterile to my mind.

Thanks, Will

The #25s are/were named Northwoods Bullet Jacks. Mine was called simply "smooth bone." I know there were cocobolo and camel bone versions as well (light and dark cocobolo, green and orange camel bone, minimally-- I forget if there were others, and as SFOs they won't be in GEC's posted archives.).

Thanks for the enthusiasm. :)
