Apologies for being a month late in replying to this! Thanks GT, I was surprised and impressed with the Colt line, especially once I started using them. Much better quality than their cost might insinuate. It seems a lot of people knew how good they are long before I found out. I've seen and liked your natural looking (brown) stag bone. Those would probably be my first choice of the Colts that I have seen but they weren't available when I decided to give them a try. Case's Swayback Jack in Chestnut is a favorite of mine, it's cool that you have a matching Sodbuster. Nice "Notable Pair", my friend !!!
A likely story!!!
That looks like a winning pair, Gary! Very nice!Apologies for being a month late in replying to this! Thanks for your Colt comments, James, and for your compliments on my notable pair a month ago.
I guess it's time for me to post another pair of Case chestnut jigged bone CV knives that I so enjoy. I thought for a moment that this might be my last such pair to post, but then remembered I recently bought another knife in the series, and I can pair the new one with each of the 5 I had before to get 5 more pairs to post here.
Today's pair is the Sodbuster Jr. I won in a BigBiscuit GAW along with a sowbelly stockman fromHalf/Stop that was a surprise Christmas gift involving considerable shenanigans, IIRC! Thanks, Ron.
