I know that celluloid and modern acrylics aren't everyone's choice, but these two oldies are gorgeous to my eye.

Schrade Cut Co #2564K @ 3⅜" closed, and a Robeson #822105 @ 3⅛" closed, both from the '30s in butter & molasses celluloid. The Robeson ShurEdge tang stamp is from 1922-1939. Thanks go to Duncan for the Cut Co, and to Charlie for helping me identify the model and time of manufacture. Both knives have full blades, great action and snap, and NO outgassing!

Thanks Paul! Believe it or not, seeing the fantastic pruners you posted earlier today is what prompted me to bring out the Northfields. Those are two wonderful knives you have there my friend!!!

Very special Jeff!!! I always thought the Butter and Molasses was the best of the celluloids.
 
I'd really like to see a modern acrylic doing a version of Butter&Mol. There are some very good acrylics around and credit to GEC for giving them a window.
