now this is a proper bushcrafter knife!

wait wait wait, this isnt one of those things thats clearly not legit but all you regulars go along to trick n00bs like me is it?

We get it. You're confused.

Live and let live?

Sometimes, it's just about doing it so you can say you did it.

I think I was starting to understand a bit till the whole "bone breaker" thing came up, then I was confused again.

Oh well, I have never been accused of being overly bright, just overly opinionated. :D Chris

Lol, I have a youtube video somewhere, a crazy German customer of mine. Went to a butcher shop and bought a bulls leg bone. And wooped the hell out of it, I will look,, not that its necessary, this bone wasn't even needing to be broken

My education seems to be lacking, I am going to have to seriously get up to speed. There seems to be whole classes of uses for knives that I know absolutely nothing about.

Maybe bull bone whacking will make it into the olympics one day and we can actually beat the Canucks at it. Chris

Great video. Does he work for the German mafia?

Was that a dinosaur bone?

Don't knock it till you try it. :p

Did you not see the glee and pure satisfaction on that German guy's face?

Granted, Germans can be a little inscrutable, but I could tell he was smiling on the inside.

I do my best to avoid bones as well, just don't call something a "breaker" anything,, unless your prepared for someone to try it, lol

More gas for the fire.:D I love my Hortons. They are not all .550" thick. The one below is only .27" thick. This is my favorite outdoors knife. I used it batoning, chopping, making tent pegs, making camp tongs, etc.

Oh, and this one has a bottle opener near the choil.

Brian I thought of you when I saw this thread.... I know you have posted Horton knives MANY times. Repeat customers are the bee's knees! I'm sure Mr Horton appreciates the free advertizing and loyalty.
