Nut'n Fancy just lost me

He runs his gob too much on single item reviews. I'm tired of him thumbing through the catalogs all the time too.

Where his wordiness is very helpful is when he is comparing multiple items. Then it is necessary to get all wordy with details. Either way his great number of reviews are a good source for most youtubers.
 
I think its a wonder NF does it personally. With the crappy child like behavior of a lot of the people commenting on youtube no one could blame him for saying the heck with it and quit! As if he doesn't put up with enough in the way of negative and stupid comments now he has to worry with how he words his phrases? Please. Focus on the knives. The guys showing the knives up close as he and others do on youtube should be praised if for nothing else just for putting up with all the crap from idiots making comments that would get them banned on controlled forums!

As for moving this post. I agree. Its not a good choice to dump this here. How bout the G&B&U forum?

nutnfancy is on of the few reviewers i've seen who i can actually watch more than 1 review in a row. about the only thing i don't see eye to eye with him is his weight issue, but i can understand where he's coming from. i dont just hear everything he says and take is as a fact, i take what he says, assess it and decide if it sounds good or if it sounds like bull. most of what he says doesnt seem like bull to me.

edit: i also dont like how he plugs that your corner store or whatever every single video.
 
The guy has quite a bit of enthusiasm for his subject matter; that's to be admired. I find his vids useful. if nothing else I appreciate the opportunity to see a knife from different angles.....and how it fits in the hand. If I find I'm not enjoying one of his reviews, I turn it off. It's that simple. When I watch something he's done, I don't see it as an audition for my personal approval. ;)

all i can say is that after you watch his reviews you will not find any surprising or annoying quirks in that knife that fail to show up in catalog pictures. i know the videos can be long winded but you know that knife inside and out by the time he's done. just wish he would buy an izula[sorry sal]
 
This discussion is getting out of hand. Amaranth, if you don't like the way someone is addressing you, put them on ignore or report them. Giving it back to them will get you infracted.

I'm not being sarcastic, but if you could find a better reviewer of knives in video could you post me a link. I subscribe to Nutn', cutlerylover, NYC dave, and thecajunblaze. If you find any better please post it cuz I like to see all kinds of knife reviews. If you can't then I guess you really cant complain about watching them. Especially when NOT watching him is so easy.
 
I love nutnfancy's reviews! He's in the military so hes got better points than most of the "Heres my knife collection this one is big and sharp" reviewers out there. Some of you have made remarks about how he talks, its just an accent! I live in Maine, I have one :) So Im biased on that part
 
I like nutn, he does some good vids on some good gear...

As far as knives go, i dont agree with his weight rule, nor his price rule(in fact i would like to see him review some more expensive stuff...maybe like strider, CRK or Busse for once) and im not the biggest fan of the way he says "Dudes" and all that, but it really doesnt matter that much...

Bluntruth4u is my man but he's on hiatus right now. He still has a ton of great vids up. His Boston accent cracks me up.
 
I am new to his reviews but I can say I do like his reviews. In all honesty I do fastforward through some of the stuff.
