Nutnfancy Has the best video Reviews

I can top that! A million fold! In the Busse forum, they have a joke...

"that looks fake. You may need to send it to me..."

I took it seriously and made a thread.... It was named; Is (members name) Reliable?

THATS a rookie mistake..... :foot:

Ouch!:D

Hmm, seems like I would have done something like that a few years ago. Of course, if anyone said that now, even if it was a cheap knife, I wouldn't have sent it away. A knife is a knife, if it cuts, it cuts.

On the terms of Nutnfancy, I like some of his reviews, and some of them I take with a grain of salt.

How about that other guy....who was it again? ....Noss? Noss yeah thats it :D

I think the vids are alright. There very repetitive and his standards are not mine, but I watch 'em when they pop up. I really like the ones with John Fitzen.

i don't like his videos, but I'm glad he makes them. He could perhaps say "tactical" a bit less, though.

Yes, starting a Nutnfancy thread is a definite Bladeforum rookie move

When I was a rookie, I made the mistake of starting a "Gerber knives are great!" thread..........ooh that one was hard to get past, it still hurts.:D

Haha, my rookie move was starting a "which weapons in case of teowaki" thread. Fail :thumbdn: We learn and move on :)

But back to the OP, I used to think the videos were alright too (though slightly on the "tactical this, tactical that" side, but then I found BF and a whole new world of knowledge opened up :D

I just watched a couple of his videos and sent an e-mail to him with some more details about some of the construction features of a knife he reviewed, the Browning Crowell Barker cutting comp knife. He seems like a nice enough guy who actually seems interested in learning stuff about the knives that he doesn't know. And best of all, no hockey mask:D

... yeah, but have you seen the chisled physique of Archman on YouTube??? Now THAT guy know what he's talkin' 'bout...:D :D :D

That's why I will never do videos. My physique looks like it was chiseled........out of cookie dough:D

lol +1!

I watch his videos just to get a good look at the product he's reviewing. It's better than a flat image on the internet somewhere.

As far as his knowledge goes.. well he doesn't know anymore than I do. Some of his critiques are ridiculous. He rambles a little too much for me.

I subscribed a while ago for his knife reviews. He convinced me to get a Spyderco Caly 3 and I loved it. Then he started doing all these tactical gear and gun crap that I don't care about. Similar to how cutlerylover stopped doing knife reviews and now does guns. Stick with what you're famous for, do some damn knife reviews!

I agree cutlerylover stopped doing knife stuff

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to put themselves on camera and review a knife. Often we don't get to see a knife in person unless you either go to a knife show or there is a very good knife shop within driving distance, and let's face it, there aren't too many of those around. I've had to buy and trade many knives just to find that the one I wanted wasn't for me after all. These video's can probably help a lot of people who are sitting on the fence trying to decide if knife X is right for them. Often I can detemine if there are any dealbreakers about a knife by a combination of written opinions and reviews as found on forums like this, or through the video reviews. So a big thanks to Nutnfancy and all the other Youtube knife reviewers.
