Nutnfancy Has the best video Reviews

I like his videos. You can get a good look at the knives in a way that you can't see on a web site. His vids usually run 10 min so you can see the blade thickness, lock, comparisons, etc. As far as ergomomics go, everyone has different size hands so I don't need to see an ergo comparison. He once did a partial review of a Benchmade 9130. He didn't really care for it and he stated that it was slow to open. I have a 9130 and I really like it. Other than it being too long for my tastes, it opens fast and has a shape that fits my hand well. Keep up the good work Nutnfancy!

I take his and cutlerylover's youtube vids the same way I take all the stuff posted on that site...with a grain of salt.

I commend them for their service and effort. I don't always agree with their assessment. That's OK:) The fact that they do honest opinionated reviews in a mature and safe manner is good enough in my book.

What I DO like about folks that do an honest and mature basic review of a knife is the fact that I generally get to see the blade at all angles. I can tell how thick it is, how the grind generally looks, what the blade to handle ratio is when put in scale, etc. Performance is as performance does. I don't need to see what it takes to destroy most of my knives. I already have enough hard users to last me several lifetimes.

Both Nutnfancy and Cutlerylover have inspired me to purchase several knives...that said, the inspiration to buy or not to buy could have been done with the speakers muted;)

I guess we all know know. Thanks for clarifying Phil! :D

I like his reviews in the sense that not many people stock Spyderco/Benchmades/any real knife brand around where I live, so I enjoy being able to see how the knife handles, opens, closes, blade shape, comparison, etc; before I buy the knife.

I really like the Nutnfancy project. I've watched a number of vids, and like his presentation style. Nutnfancy certainly has the gift of gab, and I appreciate the effort and info.

I agree with the comments about seeing the knives in 3D, it is indeed helpful if you're unable to see the knife in person

this is the kind of thing that i appreciate. i was thinking about picking up one of these, and now i won't be.

You were thinking of picking up a shaved tree? ;) Which of the two knives featured in that video were you referring to?

edit: Ah, I see -- the CSK2 chipped.

I recently found this guy and I have to say that I enjoy the reviews. They might not be the same points or critiques that I have but overall they are informative. If nothing else you could watch them on mute and watch the video to get a feel for the knife.

yup! good point

I appreciate the time and effort these guys take to produce and share their videos. I enjoy watching them and have learned alot. It gives me a good chance to take a look at gear that i would otherwise only see pictures of, not video. I really don't understand why someone would insult these kinds of videos or the people that make them. If I find one I don't like I don't watch it again if I find one I like I subscribe. It costs me $0.00 to watch so anything I gain or the enjoyment I recieve is a great value as I see it.

I don't mind his videos but I frequently hit the mute button :) There's only so much I can tolerate hearing the words "tactical" and "philosophy".

I appreciate the time he takes to make these videos. It certainly takes muey grande juevos to put yourself out there for the public to love or hate. Props for that alone but I do tend to learn a thing or to watching his videos which makes it all worth while.

I get good use out of his videos as well. It's great to see a knife I'm interested in on a nice clear video instead of a small web-pic. I hope he keeps doing them.

I enjoy nutnfancy's reviews a lot. his focus on tactics and his "philosophy of use" doesn't bother me. i enjoy hearing his views on that. i think his opinions are usually spot-on.
