love most of the vids. Concepts are good and would be nice if everyone thought like that. Reminds me of alot of guys I was in the army with in the early 90s. Reviews seem to be pretty good also. yea not sure why so much bad talk about him all over the web when there are plenty of other people to hate that deserve it.
 
I seriously hope he doesn't have any actual influence in the knife and gun industry. They'll start putting jimping on knife edges and gun barrels.

I tried watching a couple of reviews, but after getting to the 5 minute mark and he still hadn't pulled the knife out the box, I wrote him off as someone that just enjoys the sound of his own voice.
 
He has no idea what he is talking about.

One of his "reviews" he says something along the lines of an LWRC M6 being just as good, if not better, in design or "up there with" an KH416.

People actually listen to what he says.

That is just sad.

Could not have said it better myself, Robert. There are plenty of things in this world to get riled up about - real things that affect real people - but some guy from Utah on Youtube reviewing knives and making chili is not among them. There seems to be a lot of group think going on, where folks see other people ragging on him so they join the herd. Don't like him? Cool. Then don't watch him and be quiet so you don't stink it up for the rest of us.

I like him, and I watch most of what he posts. I can deal with his blowhard, somewhat nerdy, alpha dog personality. I like people who are passionate about their toys, especially when I'm passionate about the same toys. He's 10x the reviewer of most folks whose videos are full of bad audio, pauses, throat clearing and a lot of nothing.

He totally nailed that Sebenza review, btw.
 
I watched a review the other day by somebody else and after his 30th or so "Ummmm" I just had to turn it off. Nutin is ok. If he reviews a knife I am interested in or researching I will watch it. His review of the SOG Aegis had me going to buy one until I remembered how much I hated my flash 1 and 2 for their weak blade assist and massive blade play.
 
I love his reviews and am the no. 1 fanboy.

Nothing better than watching a narcissistic master of the know it all gas on and on and on for 40 minutes over one knife, the over inflated ego and self importance coupled with the contradictions and mis-information make for a most entertaining time. Drinking the kool-aid sure is fun, every 40 minutes of it.

You realize that you have Busse and Hinderer in your sig line, right? Thats as kool-aid as it gets. And just as its not really any of my business if a grown man wants to give himself a pig name or spend $700 to peel an apple, the corollary is true about people who watch knife reviews on Youtube. Maybe its time to live and let live, because the alternative is that we end up making fun of each other's kool-aid. And we are all drinking some form of it whether we acknowledge it or not.
 
He's pro freedom and pro second amendment. I can think of a lot more important people to be upset about!

LOL, I see what's going on here, you are sore because I mocked your Kool aid vender and you decided to clutch at straws. Big of you.

So many assumptions when you know nothing of me, what I spend and what i use my knives for.

Even I know about the association of Busse and pigs/hogs/pork (and booze). Really hard to miss. You have Busse on your signature line and are genuinely uncertain about the comment? :D

We should be nice to each other. Knifeknuts ought to stick together. Really not that many of us.

A for da' Nut, he's never learned the value of being brief and to the point.

I can't understand why this thread keeps popping up but I shall bite this time. I used to really enjoy TNP and wait for the videos to come out. I always liked the longer videos as it made me feel more like we were actually having a chat about the knives. However when that Sebenza video came out I pretty much lost it. Never have I seen Something so ignorant. The guy literally described the polar opposite of the knife he was reviewing. Then to make a video encouraging folks to buy Chinese knock-offs is released, taken down and claimed "misunderstood". A few weeks later you get the Southard review knocking a original knife just made in Taiwan, (not getting into the Taiwan debate here). For his fanboys, I'm glad you guys have a channel you can enjoy, that particular reviewer is not too well loved by actual knife collectors but to each his own.
 
I watch 4-6 different knife/gear reviewers on the Tube including Nutnfancy. I don't agree with everything he says just like I don't agree with everything anyone else says all the time. The point is he offers a different perspective and let's face it, whether you love him or hate him he's more of a showman than the other YouTube reviewers by and large. He's more enthusiastic and doesn't mumble or drone like a lot of others. I don't hate any of them I just like each one for different reasons. It blows my mind that so many people hate this guy just because they don't like every word that comes out of him. The level of vitriol generated by some people over it is a bit disturbing actually.
 
nevermind, I've stated my opinion on him before no need to again. Ill see you guys in W&C in 33 more pages LOL!

I like some of bis vids, some are of them I think are not right. Equip2endure are ok sometimes but Imo they are mostly armchair experts. I go look at both of these producers when I'm looking for reviews on specific brands & models of knives. The others mentioned I have not heard of.
