Thanks Rick, I'm very pleased with it. The micarta looks almost 3D, matches the rustic style blade well and should be tough as nails. The clip blade seems to be a slightly different shape (more belly ???) than other GEC's I've seen, I like it. Northwoods and GEC together hit a Grand Slam with this one!Excellent photo James and a very, very attractive knife.

Light sanding with 1200 then 2000 grit paper, just to even things out a little.Did you polish the covers?

See at the top bolster where the ivory meets. It is a little uneven and a little bit of a gap? Mine is like that at the bottom. Is this normal?Mine arrived today!

I wouldn't be concerned my friend . With natural covers especially mammoth bark ivory and other natural covers sometimes they won't be flush and not even in areas . It gives each cover its own uniqueness and part of the beauty. Just enjoy your new Lincoln Jack and its natural beauty and originalitySeeee
