NW Lincoln Jack Picture Thread

This is true torture! I was lucky enough to score a beauty in mammoth, but it just happened to be on the day I left the country for a month... Something to look forward to!

The mammoth is a little toothy with a bit of a gap between the bolster. That is what I was talking about if you can see it. The last photo you can kind of see at the bottom bolster. It is at the top too. Just the way it goes with Natural material? The Giraffe is flawless though. I chose this because I like the natural ivory look.

These two are great. The opening and closing feels wonderful. They look better in person, even better than the KSF pictures. The textured look Micarta really works well with the rustic finished blade. The swedge which mirrors the clipped potion of the blade is beautiful

I have been wanting a blue Denim Micarta Northwoods, but the previous blue Denim Northwoods I received were too dark. They looked like really dark jeans. I wanted this lighter, more faded look.

So mine arrived today also. Left 2 are Giraffe, right 2 are Mammoth. The fit and finish on these are like custom. The far right Mammoth cover has a thickness of fat stag (see photo 3) which I have not seen before on Mammoth covers. The pull on these are 5-6, just perfect for me. I am very pleased with this run. :D

Wow, the giraffe could pass for mammoth and vice versa. You got 4 stellar covers there.
 
Got here yesterday. Bought it on a whim. Wasn't sure I would like this one, but knew if I waited ... I would be left in the dust! Fortunately, I do like it!

Fine looking knives, gents. I missed out on these beauties but am hoping I can pick up one someday. This is really the first Northwoods to really catch my eye. Everything just really came together on this one.

The two on the inside look like giraffe and the two on the outside look like mammoth.

It is quiet amazing how similar giraffe bone looks and feel compared to mammoth. Initially I was planning for just mammoth but could not resist giraffe bone and ended up with 4 knives. There was a green giraffe bone which I was not able to snag fast enough. Congrats to whoever picked up that knife. That is my holy grail giraffe bone cover which I hope, someday, I will be able to land.
 
I keep looking at these and thinking "wouldn't this look nice with a rat-tail bolster." Could someone do a quick mod and post up some pics?
